Set in Kyoto and within 500 metres of Samurai Kembu Kyoto, Rinn Niomon has a garden, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. This 3-star hotel offers a concierge service and luggage storage space. This was by far our favorite stay out of the 4 properties we visited in Japan! The room we stayed in was beyond beautiful, timeless, and comfortable. After coming from a small hotel in Tokyo, this one left us with our jaws dropped. From the entrance you’re greeted by a large open space to leave your shoes along with any luggages you brought. The room was so large, definitely was not expecting based on what we paid. The beds were so comfortable, and two of us bathed every night in the tub. Very classic, traditional mixed with modern! Truly a luxurious stay at an affordable price. Beautiful and convenient location as well to the stations. If you don’t book this stay, you’re missing out!

Situated within less than 1 km of Heian Shrine and a 14-minute walk of Eikan-do Zenrin-ji Temple, Guest House Nishimura - Vacation STAY 13438 features rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom... Before starting the trip, tadashi-san got really involved with us and helped us with all our questions. He was really kind and helpful. His guesthouse is incredible, an authentic ryokan experience. Please if you are going to stay in Tadashi's guesthouse be polite and kind, he is a really good person and he will help you with everything. His wife Yuki-san is also lovely!

Tadashi insisted on picking me up from the train station, on his day off as well. Himself and Yuki are lovely people and very welcoming. Everthing is meticulously clean and the bed was so comfortable, i had the first decent nights sleep since arriving in Japan 6 days previous. There is a view of a Buddhist temple out of the bedroom window and the neighbourhood where the property is seems safe and quiet.

Featuring 3-star accommodation, Hotel Wing International Premium Kyoto Sanjo is set in Kyoto, 100 metres from Samurai Kembu Kyoto and less than 1 km from Shoren-in Temple. Comfortable and spacious room, great Japanses style breakfast (personally we didn't like that type of miso soup), and super friendly staff. Hotel location is great: easy access to bus lines, and short walk from central parts of Kyoto. An extra word about the receptionist ladies' helpfulness: They helped me finding a nearby English speaking doctor, as my mosquito bite on my leg got infected. They called the clinic, which prepared for my arrival, they accepted me with no delay and gave treatment with even lower than usual visit fee. The free softdrinks were a really big plus. (

Everything is so comfy, i can spend whole day in my room. Staff try their best to help me which i really appreciate.
