The place was very clean and well maintained. It was located around 10min walk from the beach, in a jungle. The only problem was very bad reception and super slow WiFi, but if you sat closer to the router it worked well. The typical breakfast of eggs, toast and fruits was included. The hosts were amazing, they upgraded our room without additional payment. What is more, they helped me when I needed charger after mine broke.

I am shocked there is only 1 review on Google - this place deserves a thousand reviews!! What a hidden gem of Unawatuna. A leisurely stroll away from the beach, nestled in nature with amazing owners and the nicest dog, Jimmy!🐶 It’s a spacious room, cosy double bed, hot water 🙌🏽 air conditioning, a little self contained kitchenette, even with a little dining table and chairs. It was really clean and tidy, well equipped and not to mention, the breakfast we had provided to us from the owner was one of the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka! Oh also the wifi was super!!! I honestly hope you read this review and decide to stay there because we had a really lovely 4 night stay here. Thank you! 🥹♥️

The hotel is perfectly located on Unawatuna beach. Accessing the area via the beach is the best option providing you with a plethora of restaurants and bars both along the beach and adjacent to the hotel. The rooms were massive, even the standard rooms. They possess a large bathroom, with very good walk in shower and bathtub. TV channel selection was the best we had in country and WIFI was good, although a little slow when there was a massive crowd over a weekend for weddings. This was one of the best stays we had in Sri Lanka.

We had an amazing stay at Thaprobhan. The staff were exceptional so welcoming and accommodating and were great fun with the kids. The food is fantastic - the breakfast buffet and curries definite highlights. Great facilities with two lovely pools, gym and games room. Location is perfect - really peaceful with beautiful coastal views but only a few minutes from the bustle with a free shuttle into the main street. Highly recommended.

The views are stunning, palm trees and waves crashing, we saw turtles while swimming on the beach. The food was delicious and staff paid excellent attention to make sure we had everything we needed at all times. If you go out late at night let the reception know as they do close the gate in the evening. We found it easy to visit other restaurants and beach clubs from this location as well so you have lots of options on your doorstep!

Checked in to Seaview Deepal Villa on a last min booking. The hotel is very new . Good ambience and friendly staffs. Cozy Room , Delicious Food. Location is prefect for me (Just 2 min walk to the beach ), takes about 5 min walk to Main Road (Galle road ). Overall nice place.

What was initially meant to be a one-night stay turned into three nights of pure bliss. This exceptional hotel truly exceeded all my expectations. The sea view room was absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the sound of crashing waves and a panoramic view of the sparkling ocean was simply magical. The room was thoughtfully designed, clean, and modern, offering a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. It felt like a serene sanctuary where I could unwind and recharge.
