It has a great “funky old motel” feel but without the dated, gross stuff that usually goes along with that. Everything was clean and nice. It smelled good, even the parking lot and fire pit were well maintained. Housekeeping was helpful and friendly. It’s right at the high end of Main Street and we walked the length of town every night after dark.

The ice machine is fantastic in that it has a scoop but completely unsanitary by having the scoop left in the bin. That's a huge no-no in any kind of institution and one hopes the dept of public health ignores a small motel when doing inspections. For just filling coolers it's fine but some people like to make mixed drinks and I would avoid that. The cleaning staff was extremely friendly and the younger guy that works in the office was really nice.MMATTFamily with young children

The room was both comfortable and charming, and the river side location was beautiful. The staff was helpful, it was easy to do a quick load of laundry on premises. I also loved the s'mores kit and fire pit in the evenings.
