The lodge offers a terrace. Almost New rooms. Very clean and well set up. Plenty of parking right in the middle of town. Motel was fully booked and we got a larger disability access room which was the best set up I have seen. Close to the highway but got a very good nights sleep. Located on 160 acres of native bushland overlooking Bewong Creek, the Adult only Bewong River Retreat offers cosy wooden bungalows with a spa bath, free Wi-Fi and a private balcony with lovely garden views. The property features BBQ facilities, a games room and a library. We loved the location and how peaceful it was. It was a rainy weekend, but there’s something really special about relaxing in a cozy cabin in the woods listening the rain on the roof. The spa was excellent! And the service was fantastic; very accomodating, helpful, and friendly. There was also a lot of wildlife around, including three tawny frogmouths chilling right outside our living room.

A big thanks to the manager who was super helpful through out my stay. Dinner was amazing, far beyond other ski lodges I stayed near by. The property was immaculately clean and extremely well maintained for a building at it’s age.
