Featuring spectacular views over Lake Jindabyne and the mountains, Troldhaugen Lodge - Adults Only offers boutique, European-style accommodation comprising modern rooms with stylish bathrooms and elegant lounge areas. The property features two shared lounge areas, one with a log fireplace and a selection of books, magazines and board games and the other lounge area with a chess set and TV with DVD player.

Claire and David were exceptional hosts. From the moment we stepped into the lodge to our departure, they were kind, friendly and attentive which made our stay very memorable. The location couldn't have been better. Only 3 minutes drive or 10-15 minute walk to the shops, we were able to get to dinner and return quickly, which was quite desirable after a long day on the slopes. Cherry on top was their drying room which we made great use of (only boots, board and skis allowed, but everything else could be dried on the heater within our room). We will be returning the next time we visit!

What a wonderful location, Natalie was lovely and the Altitude team could not have been more accommodating. We will definitely return.

Hosts Lee and Brenda Mosca catered for motorcyclists so thoughtfully. For example, it rained overnight, and in the morning, I found a towel on the bike ready to wipe the seat dry. Clean facilities, breakfast included, and in a convenient location. Two Thumbs Up for motorcyclists staying at the Kookaburra Lodge.

This place is such a treasure, I felt like I had been transported to the Alps in Europe! A ski lodge in winter that is also great for hikers in summer. There is a huge fireplace (not on during summer) and a gym/sauna (which I did use). The location is great, right next to shops and Woolies, and I was even upgraded so I could make the most of the balcony and evening sun.

Great property recently renovated. Good size rooms . Spacious drying rooms. Common area with lots of space , seating and a pool table and large TV. Walls are a little thin and can hear noise from your neighbours but that's to be expected in these lodges. Would definitely recommend and would revisit. Would love a jacuzzi and sauna on site.

My husband and I popped down to Jindabyne for 1-night last minute and loved the accommodation here. Our room was immaculate, with a stunning view over lake Jindabyne. Breakfast was included in the breakfast room downstairs and the whole lodge had a cosy and welcoming feel to it. Claire and David were wonderful hosts.

This venue had a complete 5 star ski lodge feel. The food at clancy's restaurant was very good and the portions were large. The convenience of restaurants, pub and accommodation being all in one location was great. The bus stop for travels to the slopes is very close too which makes it overall a good alternative to perisher.

Although an older style Motel/Lodge is decorated well, had a great vibe and was warm and very clean. It had the best hairdryer I've used in any hotel and the owner is very friendly. We stayed one night and left very early to go skiing so didn't use any other facilities or have breakfast.

I’ve reviewed this quirky ex school ski lodge in the past and it hasn’t changed. if you’re looking for a “cut and paste” hotel/motel room this place isn’t for you. if you want to experience something a little out of left field you can’t go past this place. The facilities are amazingly homely, the staff are there for you and friendly when you need them and not seen when you dont. The shared common room is a wonderful touch too. Its not my first time here and won’t be my last

It was well-located and we welcomed the breakfast provided in the common area. A ski lodge providing adequate off-season motel accommodation
