The newly renovated 4-star Hotel Baía Azul is ideally located a 4-minute walk from Funchal’s beachfront. Honestly everything! Maybe one of the best hotel stays ever. The sun deck balcony is amazing place to relax and chill, the hotel staff is great, the views stunning. Can’t wait to come back!

There are indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a 2-Michelin star restaurant and free... everything was amazing it’s a dream vacation destination , the breakfast in rose garden could not be better

Featuring a bar, Vila Vicência is located in Funchal in the Madeira region, a 7-minute walk from Gorgulho - Gavinas Beach and 1.8 miles from Formosa Beach. Beautiful location and facilities, the indoor pool and jacuzzi were great for a rainy day. Staff is very friendly and accommodating and the room itself was huge with a private balcony. I would absolutely stay here again!

Set within a leafy garden, this hotel features an outdoor pool overlooking Funchal coastal cliffs. Pestana Vila Lido Madeira Ocean Hotel‘s studios are spacious and decorated with soft beige colors. Everything about this property is simply fantastic. Excellent customer service throughout our stay, the staff was very accommodating and we felt like VIPs. The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet, and our balcony view could not be beat. The breakfast buffet was amazing as well, with something for everyone. We also loved the location, it is close to the downtown without being in the heart of it, and the promenade provided excellent walking paths. A great restaurant and a large grocery store were right across the street as well. We will stay here again when we return to Madeira.

Located in Lido, just a 5-minute walk from the oceanfront promenade in Funchal, the recently refurbished Allegro Madeira offers 2 restaurants, an outdoor pool, 360º rooftop bar, spa and fitness... The breakfast was very good, with a great selection. It was a very nice touch with the sparkling wine option.

As part of the Vila Porto Mare resort, this hotel offers 4 restaurants, 6 bars and 5 swimming pools. Porto Mare features an extensive tropical garden on the Atlantic oceanfront. All hotel facilities, breakfast spread and hotel grounds. Was delighted to received wine and flowers in room upon arrival (was there to celebrate our anniversary)
