The beds are extremely hard for my liking. Had to get up, make and sleep on the sofa bed. The pillows are awful as well. Luckily I bring my own . The barn door for the bathroom was a horrible idea. It doesn't fit flush and leaves an undesirable gap so not much privacy.

Bend has way too many people which leads to overcrowded roads, wait time for prettymuch everything, and if you want to just get away from people good luck. For some reason everyone wants to be here. Everything is high priced so remember if you don't have alot of money it's going to cost you enjoying anything here. Is it pretty? Yes, but way overcrowded. If your rich, you'll absolutely love it here.

Great town, very active, it would be really nice to paddle board there, go hiking and I went to the best fly fishing shop I've ever seen at Old Mill (https://www.oldmilldistrict.com/shops/confluence-fly-shop/). Had a couple of beers at Confluence fly shop. Pizza at Pinky G's (https://pinkygs.com/) was fantastic.

We were there on the first Friday of the month and the downtown area was "alive." Galleries and shops were open late. Lot of places to eat. We ate at the Pine Tavern, and it was very good. Lot happening in the surrounding areas for outdoor adventure.

The whole city was clean and organised.
Very few old vacant plots throughout making it a city of quality.
The "old town' with its shops and good quality food outlets, history information , river frontage and walks were an unexpected series of highlights for our restful day.

I loved how friendly the drivers are, all the food truck pods, and fun outdoor spaces. So many gorgeous trails to explore and the shopping at the Mill District. So fun to see an operational Blockbuster store and a Barnes and Noble store.
Beautiful river front and public parks.

So much to do in and around Bend.
So much to do in and around Bend. If you are nature lover, you can easily spend 3-4 days here or even more.
The area is rapidly expanding... expect traffic and impatient / borderline rude drivers!
We liked and enjoyed areas around Bend more than Bend itself.
We've stayed at this place many times during our visits to Bend. This is the best deal compared to the outrageous prices for most of the inexpensive hotels in the area. It's small but clean and quiet. We were confused about how to use the satellite tv. We could have asked for help but didn't spend much time in the room. If you care about watching tv in the room, you might want to ask for instructions at the desk.
The Cascade Lodge was great! The room was very cute and pretty comfortable. We really liked the environment - the pool, room setup, proximity to restaurants/things to do in downtown Bend. It felt safe and homey. It was also a very good value for the money. The manager was super friendly and went out of his way to help us find our room. The best part is the Indian food truck right outside!
Good, clean room. Quiet hotel despite location near main roads. We enjoyed the breakfast and excellent coffee. Rooms had refrigerator and was good for an overnight stay on our road-trip. The pizza at the sports bar just across the road was excellent...a locals place, good prices and a 2 minute walk. Location wasn't near downtown or the river but still convenient..
Spacious and stylish room with fireplace, welcome drink and friendly staff. Breakfast was very tasty with healthy options and all foods served in reusable containers! What a contrast with many US hotels. Very nice inn in quiet location surrounded by pines and with great river views.
It was a very spacious room, well laid out, beds were comfy, clean, freshly decorated. Coffee machine, microwave and fridge with a small freezer were a welcome addition to the room facilities, many hotels do not offer this.
Very reasonable room charge. Very peaceful room.
Only suggestion I would add is have cut up
Melon for breakfast. And that’s being nit picky. The dining area was beautiful and comfortable. A great location along the river with easy walk to the Mill and Riverbend Park. And a short drive to downtown.
This is the best hostel I've ever stayed in! It is an excellent location in Downtown Bend and the facilities are incredible, especially the outdoor spaces and the brewery. The public spaces are really comfortable and the bed was nice too.
The staff (both front desk and continental breakfast team) were phenomenal. We could not have been more pleased. We will definitely stay at your hotel again in the future when traveling to Bend.
The location is perfect for our stay in Bend to visit relatives. The breakfast is pretty good as far as hotels breakfasts go. It's nice that there is coffee, cookies, and juice available 24/7
For one of the most affordable motels in Bend it’s what you would expect. It did the job. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were friendly. It was quiet at night, which was very nice.
We loved the proximity of Loge to both Mount Bachelor and downtown Bend. The room was clean and we loved the ski racks and boot warmers. The hangout areas with fire pits were also fun!
Really cosy motel/hotel! Nice area of rest next to a busy street. Motel vibe with the openness of a hostel and the privacy of a hotel. All for a great price!
The location was the best part of the hotel. Being downtown and within walking distance to so many shops and restaurants was great. The room size was nice.
