Bend has way too many people which leads to overcrowded roads, wait time for prettymuch everything, and if you want to just get away from people good luck. For some reason everyone wants to be here. Everything is high priced so remember if you don't have alot of money it's going to cost you enjoying anything here. Is it pretty? Yes, but way overcrowded. If your rich, you'll absolutely love it here.

Great town, very active, it would be really nice to paddle board there, go hiking and I went to the best fly fishing shop I've ever seen at Old Mill (https://www.oldmilldistrict.com/shops/confluence-fly-shop/). Had a couple of beers at Confluence fly shop. Pizza at Pinky G's (https://pinkygs.com/) was fantastic.

The whole city was clean and organised.
The whole city was clean and organised.
Very few old vacant plots throughout making it a city of quality.
The "old town' with its shops and good quality food outlets, history information , river frontage and walks were an unexpected series of highlights for our restful day.

I loved how friendly the drivers are, all the food truck pods, and fun outdoor spaces. So many gorgeous trails to explore and the shopping at the Mill District. So fun to see an operational Blockbuster store and a Barnes and Noble store.
Beautiful river front and public parks.

So much to do in and around Bend.
So much to do in and around Bend. If you are nature lover, you can easily spend 3-4 days here or even more.
The area is rapidly expanding... expect traffic and impatient / borderline rude drivers!
We liked and enjoyed areas around Bend more than Bend itself.

I was a participant in the Arts Festival so my experience was skewed.
Bend is a lovely, overcrowded town. It has some wonderful neighborhoods, mostly the older ones are best. Bend is very expensive. Lodging was the highest of any city I've worked in. We had a hard time finding seating in downtown restaurants and the prices were higher than other comparable cities. Drivers near where I was for the festival were impatient and aggressive.
Bend is nice, but it suffers from the success of aggressive advertising that has worked, perhaps, too well.
We loved EVERYTHING about this hotel! The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we were greeted with a complimentary cold beer upon check-in. The room was HUGE and included a separate bedroom, living room, dining table, murphy bed and large patio. It's located in a very beautiful and peaceful area on the river, surrounded by trees. There is a cool brewery located across the street, and the hotel it is in walking distance to Hayden Holmes Amphitheater. We would 100% stay here again.
-Room size is definitely larger than average for a double queen. Very Nice.
-Nice large lobby area that always open with coffee available. This was the best area to reliably use wifi.
-Swimming pool was decent - easy to access and not too busy both days we were there.
-Great shower - hooray.
-Good hot breakfast, though fairly general for hotels.
-Comfortable beds, reliable air-conditioning and airflow in the room
-We like rooms that have sinks outside of the bathroom like this one!
I loved the layout of the room, it was a lot bigger than expected., very clean, and I loved the cozy bed, the staff, the easy check in process, the grounds to run around on, the easy access to all the places we wanted to go to in beautiful Bend, the full size dining room table, fridge, tv in BOTH the bedroom and the main area, and all at a great price. Thank you for letting us have an extra 30 mins for check out as well. We truly loved our stay. Thank you so much 10/10
Location, location, location. The cottage was super cute and decorated with Bend (and Oregon) art work. The kitchen is well stocked with all the dishes you need. The property is very clean inside and out. The outside seating area is fun for people watching. Designated off street parking for one car. Walking distance to downtown, bars, convenience store, and great restaurants. I highly recommend this property!
It was a fine stay, in that it was near where we wanted to be and the most economical of what was available (very short notice booking). Totally out of the control of the hotel, but our neighbours were very (very) noisy for much of the night (!) so we realised the rooms had very thin walls - a bit uncomfortable when travelling with two teenagers.
The room was very clean. Ideal for families with little kids because it has a good size kitchen where you can cook small meals. Cookware and dinnerware were also provided in the room. Hotel was just near the mall. Plenty of store/restaurants around. Had a comfortable stay. Will definitely stay here again if ever we come back in Bend.
The location was amazing, the rooms were spacious and comfortable. I think the only thing missing was that the place could have provided bottled water to guests but there was a lemon water dispenser at the lobby. Overall my family had a wonderful experience in this hotel. Staff also kind and accommodating.
Loved the location, walkable to downtown restaurants. The room was beautiful, cozy and very stylish. The bed was comfortable. Easy access to the interstate for visiting nearby parks and attractions. Loved Smith Rock Park! Could have spent more time in this area, loved Bend!!
We really enjoyed our stay at Campfire! The staff we helpful on check-in, and the whole hotel was extremely pet-friendly and had a reasonable pet fee compared to other hotels. Room was clean and we appreciated that we were able to stay in a quieter part of the hotel.
A basic room, with no frills, but spacious, clean and centrally located in Bend. The rooms are less expensive than most hotel rooms in Bend, and are a great value if you don't care about shiny newness and added extras.
excellent breakfast, very new and attractive facility, good microwavable meals. very quiet room, comfortable bed, pets being allowed very attractive without hassles, space around hotel convenient for exercising pets
This has turned into my favorite hotel in Bend! Easy walk to downtown (~mile) and huge rooms, great for ski stuff / hiking bags etc. The pool is absolutely epic! Great staff and super clean & comfy space.
Room was clean and warm. Decor was nice and the deck was really nice. My granddaughter and I loved the shower. Nice big rain shower head yet not wasting water.
I would stay here every time I visit bend.
Good location. Great price and value. Good base of operations for exploring the area around Bend. Walking distance from the Mill District shops. Short drive to downtown.
Fire pits, Tap room lobby with lodge feel and fire places, newly updated rooms. Proximity to Mt. bachelor and Bend. Will be back for sure. Oh great staff.
This is simply a fantastic hotel, great value, a spacious room, a bath that you can actually use, and within walking distance of bars in downtown Bend.
