Just 5 miles from the city centre of Oxford, The Bear and Ragged Staff offers fantastic homemade food, free parking, and free Wi-Fi. The food was fantastic. We are vegetarians and we were well catered for. I highly recommend the food. They also have policies in place that steers them in a more environmentally positive direction.

Convenient location to Oxford - the bus was right outside. The room had everything f we needed and was comfy. The breakfast included was top notch!

The owner (Ric) was very kind and helpful. Beautiful house, lovely rooms, very clean, felt safe, and instructions were very easy to follow. Mimi (the cat) is very gentle and sweet. She only has access to the kitchen and outside, unless you let her in to the rest of the house. Naturally, we loved her so we let her roam freely through the house (when there were no other guests around) and she even spent one of the nights with us! Honestly such a great stay and would so easily recommend and go back. For breakfast, you're a 3 minute walk from Proof Social Bakehouse (pricey but AMAZING pastries, check opening times on google maps), and 5 minutes to the bus stop to go to Abingdon or Oxford (about 15mins to get to either). Set 14 km from Notley Abbey, 29 km from University of Oxford and 30 km from Cliveden House, The Cherry Tree offers accommodation located in Kingston Blount. I was in room 9, lots of space, clean, comfortable with all the amenities I needed and more. Breakfast was a delight…huge selection and delicious

Offering river views, DINCKLEY COURT BOUTIQUE RIVERSIDE ROOMS - Burcot on Thames is an accommodation set in Abingdon, 15 km from University of Oxford and 25 km from Notley Abbey. We loved the beautiful location at the edge of the water. Our hostess Annette was genuinely interested and very helpful providing us with insider tips for places to visit and a very nice breakfast. We were looking for a relaxing retreat and found exactly that. We gladly would come again at any time. Don‘t change a thing!

Boasting garden views, Cranberry Cottage offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 23 km from University of Oxford. This lovely accommodation exceeded our expectations! Having arrived in the dark we managed to get a glimpse of the front room. At the front door we were greeted by the lovely hosts, Sue and Brendan who took us through. The house is simply unique and very beautiful. It has 3 floors (and a basement for the hosts use only). The front room had a very home-from-home feel. Sue showed us the kitchen which was amazing - wooden beams and original wooden doors but also a very modern feel to it. She then took us up to our room which was in the roof of house so it had a low ceiling and a small window. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was very clean and tidy. We had a little heater in the room which came in handy during the night and morning especially because of the recent cold spell. Breakfast was superb, the table was laid out for us complete with homemade bread (which was a wonderful treat) and condiments, cereals, yoghurts, juice and hot drinks. It was just a case of help ourselves. We have friends in Wallingford and every so often meet up with them for evenings out. It's always been difficult in the past to find reasonable accommodation but not any more, this is now our go to place and with hosts like Sue and Brendan we couldn't have found anywhere better.

Fin leilighet med 2 soverom, godt utstyrt og gode senger. Hyggelig vertskap som ordnet ting raskt. Fin beliggenhet i forhold til utforskning av Cotswold sine små og store byer. 5 min gåtur til togstasjon med direkteavganger til f.eks Oxford. Samt kort vei til puber og spisesteder. Passet fint for 3 voksne.

Royal Oak Ramsden features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Ramsden. This 4-star inn offers free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is located 17 km from Blenheim Palace. Love everything about the stay! The hotel is delicately decorated and gives a nice cosy and romantic vibe. The rooms are spacious and have a vintage feel. Staffs are really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to friends and come back in the future!

Character old Inn in the heart of the beautiful little village of Asthall, a 5 mins drive from Burford. The Inn has been tastefully restored with quality furnishings. Our room and en suite bathroom was very attractive and comfortable and led on to the outdoor eating area. Surrounded by the best of the English countryside, we enjoyed an excellent pub meal. The food was exceptional, much of which was locally sourced. The staff were very friendly and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended.
