The breakfast was fantastic. The eggs and the bacon were cooked perfectly, and there was a very wide range of cereals. The room was very clean, with comfortable beds. The owner of the property was really kind as well, and provided us with coffee, tea and milk.

The most english home I have ever seen. The owner was lovely! Offered us tea and biscuits right away when we came in, gave us extra plates so we could eat in dinner in the living room, she found us a mobile heater for our room (the oil for the heating had run out), she made us eggs on her aga and was generally just such a nice person to talk to. You can really tell that she puts a lot of care and love into this home. It feels genuine. The bed was huge as well!

Classic 18th? century pub. Stairs to the room crooked, uneven, no banister in places, and you are required to duck to avoid hitting your head. Absolutely authentic and perfect. Everything you could want plus a modern bath. Food was good and staff friendly and helpful.
