Room was lovely, very well done and they had Netflix which we needed as weather was awful on arrival day. View is lovely from atop the hill and on leaving we could see the waterfall behind which would have been nice to walk to if time. Location to glacier lagoon is great, worked will for us with a glacier tour from there in the morning. Nothing really else around, had to drive about 10 min to find a place for dinner. Breakfast option at lagoon cafe.

This cabin has a beautiful location with views of the shore and mountains, and not one but two waterfalls right behind it, as well as a stream next to it. It is well equipped and very comfortable for 6 people. There are excellent dining options 2 min drive away at Gerdi Guesthouse (run by the same people), or at two other restaurants at the same location.

I like everything of this hotel, nice size room, comfotable bed, very good breakfast. And the best staff. I forgot my charger, and left, I asked hotel whether they can send by post to Reykjiavik, and they did. Today I received the package, thank you so much Hotel Hali.

The rooms are spacious, the surrounding area is beautiful, the property is v easy to find. It’s very clean, there’s an all-time access to a kettle and common area. Breakfast was included and oh boy was it a treat! Waffles were a nice touch!
