Offering affordable Japanese-style accommodations, Mimatsuso Ryokan is a 5-minute drive on the free shuttle from JR Asahikawa Train Station. So charming and cosy with a warm personality. We loved the Japanese breakfast and dinner that was prepared by the owners. We loved the authentic traditional charm, the decor and everything else!

A 2-minute walk from Jozankei Shako-mae bus stop, Grand Blissen Hotel Jozankei offers rooms with a flat-screen TV. Guests can relax in public hot-spring bath. The room - including the incredible view and en suite onsen - was absolutely incredible and perfect for me and my teenage daughters. But the food… for me, that was the highlight. The breakfast and dinner included in our stay was out of this world and a beautiful way to experience Hokkaido — our first time there. The service was fantastic, start to finish — we always felt welcome and cared for. I read about this hotel in The NY Times, and it delivered, 100 percent. Highly recommend, 10/10!

Tsuruga Resort offers luxurious accommodation and hot-spring baths by Lake Shikotsu. Massage services and a fitness centre are on offer. The spacious rooms include a flat-screen TV and seating area. Breakfast/Dinner are wonderful. Hotel environment is so great and comfortable during the stay. The room space is impressive and the ground floor so relaxable. This is the sencond time I visit here, will definetely back here again next time.

Featuring natural hot-spring baths and fresh Japanese meals, Kashoutei Hanaya Ryokan offers spacious rooms overlooking the Oyunuma River. Everything is fantastic. They accepted our last minute request to have two additional dinners, and took all four of us up and down the mountain with free shuttle bus even only two of us are staying! They also offered free shuttle whenever we go out to anywhere nearby. Only one word to summarize my experience: fantastic. Will definitely come back.

Featuring 3-star accommodation, Oyado Kinkiyu Annex SUIKAZURA is situated in Teshikaga, 11 km from Lake Kussharo and 13 km from Lake Mashu. Plenty of free parking. The socializing room with free drinks and free snacks is very nice. The Onsen is also much appreciated. There was even an easy to use printer to allow me to easily handle some business.

Offering river views, Suigan is an accommodation set in Jozankei, 32 km from Shin-Sapporo Station and 43 km from Otarushi Zenibako City Center. The staff was very caring. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Access to free drinks and snacks. The food was delicious.
