The most wonderful stay we have had in a hotel anywhere in the world. The staff in particular were amazing, so genuinely lovely, welcoming, efficient and helpful. We also enjoyed the beautifully prepared and delicious meals. The room itself was more like a suite, so roomy, comfortable and pretty. Then there was the cute bathroom overlooking the lake and Mt Fuji. We felt sad to leave and hope to come back one day soon. Many thanks for everything and also for the little gifts.

An exceptional ryokan, very helpful staff, upon arrival we received a yukata (traditional Japanese clothing) and they even allowed us to go out with the yukata for a walk in the city. Very good breakfast (Japanese or European style to choose from) The staff went out of their way to accommodate the vegetarian/gluten free meal. Onsen is very spacious, and you can also order a hot pool for private use.

The Japanese-style rooms at Historical Ryokan Hostel K's House Ito Onsen are air-conditioned and come with traditional tatami-mat flooring. Most rooms enjoy beautiful views of the Matsukawa River. Traditional inn, old building but extremely clean and warm. I booked room without toilet, glad there is shared toilet on every floor and 1 just outside our room. Common lounge has card and board games, we had great time playing. Staff are polite and helpful, location is near restaurants and Ito station.

Our family had unforgettable and wonderful moments at this Ryokan. Comfortable rooms, good Japanese bath facilities and a very special breakfast. Equipped with both a kettle and a coffee machine, multiple hair drying-styling equipment and amenities. The teppanyaki dinner was delicious and included gourmet choices of ingredients and drinks. Staff were extremely attentive and polite. A stay to remember for life.
