Awesome ryokan, excellent service, beautiful and relaxing hot springs, especially outdoor one by the river. Men and women's hot spring sides swap everyday so its like two hotsprings in one. Unlimited alcohol in afternoon, unlimited drinks, dinner and breakfast delivered to room.

Each room comes with a flat-screen TV and a safety deposit box. The en suite bathroom features a bath tub and free toiletries. Japanese Yukata robes, a fridge and an electric kettle with green tea bags are included as well.

I stayed in the suite room with indoor onsen bath tub on a half board basis. The room was clean and spacious. Both breakfast and dinner were buffets with a wide variety of food. Everything was really good. I must say it was worth the price I paid.

    Staffs are friendly, Kaiseki dinner and breakfast are delicious, love the tatami room and bedding, private onsen in the room is big enough to fit two ladies. Good location, the donan bus stop is just right in front of the property. Hotel is near to Hell Valley and the main street. Overall happy with the stay.

    This property is the best in the nearby vicinity of Hell’s Valley in my opinion. Great location and accessibility to restaurants, Bear Park,Hell’s Valley, etc. We like the Japanese Room equipped with Warm cosy Futons Beds and Yukata for every guest. Service is great!

    Onsen was nice, food was awesome for dinner. Our room came with free drinks in the fridge which includes sake! Futon bed were actually real mattresses so they were comfortable unlike those futon beds which were just soft padding

    So glad I picked this small ryokan vs one of the big hotels. The staff were super kind and accommodating. The in-room meal was fantastic and the small onsen was never crowded. I even had it to myself a couple of times. The shuttle from the train station and to Oyunuma is also very convenient.

    Great onsen hotel in a fantastic location . Everything is reachable on foot and the onsen facilities were one of the best we have seen. Also very comfortable futon beds , much better than any Japanese room we stayed in before . The slides in the outdoor onsen were awesome for our young kids!

    We opted for half board - both dinner and breakfast were amazing! Food was delicious, presentation was beautiful and portions were adequate. The room was spacious, and the tatami mats that we slept on were comfortable. We also enjoyed the onsen. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was central and within walking distance to Jigokudani ( Hell Valley). Free parking was available.

    It is a solid ryokan. I have stayed in several others throughout Japan and this one is a solid middle class one. The staff is making an effort and the futon beds were comfortable. I also liked that they use 100% hot spring water in the onsen
