The bath room needs an exhaust fan in it. The paint is had bubbles in it from stream from the shower.

Wish their was a continental breakfast. The pay yourself store is awesome though.

Even though the property is older , you can tell it's well taken care of and renovated often. Location is great, beach access wonderful. Can't wait for pier to be up and fully running.

I did not like the VERY small balcony. But that said, the veranda on the front of the hotel was a perfect place to hangout and enjoy the ocean view.

LOVED this hotel and will def stay here again. It was walking distance to so many great restaurants/bars. Love that its oceanfront. Morning coffee on the veranda was a favorite! The staff were friendly and attentive.

Tub had some debris up on arrival. Toilet above broke so I was disturbed by banging. The phone staff aren't very friendly.

Location was quiet. Off the beaten path. A walk away from places to eat and short drive from other dining options. Live music in the evening on weekends.

People smoking cigars on their balconies which still ends up in your room.

Slow elevator. Just wish there were more than two. Other than that it was a fantastic staycation!! We will definitely be back!!

The location was perfect!! Around all the places to eat and close to a friend's house. The staff were courteous and friendly, and upon checking out, the receptionist at the front desk even blew up a huge turtle for a little boy to take to the beach! That is way above and beyond customer service which I thought was wonderful!!

Noise eight hours of the evening people at the bars across the street. Also the situation with one broken elevator, the other was extremely slow.

The construction was a bit more intrusive for our stay than we realized, but it was all clean and clear at night. They plan to have it looking sharp for the busy season and I believe it will be looking great!

This hotel is right on the ocean with beach access. I loved our room with a balcony on the 7th floor with an ocean view. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very, very clean. I don't know about the outdoor pool and whirlpool as it was pretty cold during our stay. The coffee was fresh and good every morning. It was very quiet except for the construction that was going on during the day. The machines were pretty noisy and there was a chemical smell one day. but we were out most of that day anyway. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful from the desk to the cleaning crew. From what we could tell, the maintenance and painting are looking beautiful and very beachy. The hotel is right next to the new pier in Surfside. Very sweet and quiet place to spend time by the ocean. The rates were very reasonable, especially for the view. One suggestion is to check in and leave your luggage in the car. Then, pull your car around to the back of the hotel and there is direct access to the elevator to the rooms. Very convenient once you learn the system.
