When we first pulled onto Saucilito Dr. a man staying in a large tan house flipped us off. Seemed like every-time we pulled by his house he flipped us off. The teen girls that were with me didn’t think that was polite. We ended up driving down Mendocino Dr. to avoid his house.

Sunny Catalina was very cozy and comfy. We had everything we needed even down to the laundry detergent. The cargo lift was a big bonus! It helped us to get our groceries and luggage to the top without having to carrying them up the stairs. We liked that there were many extra towels, even beach towels so we didn’t have to reuse the same ones over and over. The beds were comfy. We drove to the beach access #36 instead of walking through the tunnel. I brought 4 teen girls for their sweet 16 birthday. We all had a wonderful time.

The property was beautiful and in a quiet neighborhood. Comfortable and clean, it accommodated all of our needs and we had a great weekend celebrating my mom’s birthday.

I don’t have any complaints!

It was super comfy, clean, and roomy for us to have a place for all of our unpacking. It was dog friendly with a yard and a lift to bring suitcases and groceries up and down on.

The only thing I would add is a gate for the front deck so a pet can be off the leash, but I appreciated a very pet friendly house so not a big deal.

It was great staying at Sunny Catalina. I like being out of the crowds and this area fit the bill. Our host was excellent with communication and very helpful. The lift (for luggage only) was a fantastic addition to this house! Such a relief not having to carry heavy bags upstairs in multiple trips. Beds were comfortable and there was enough lighting outside at night in this still very new area. Small supermarket is about 5 minutes away; Way West Grill & Pizzeria (good pizza!) is about 10 minutes away. Very close to beaches you can drive on. Would definitely stay here again!

wish there was a king size bed in the master suite instead of a queen and day bed.

Nice house. loved the elevator to help bring suitcases and supplies up instead of having to carry them up the stairs. The elevator was nice because I have medical issues that make stairs difficult.

Daniel the host was very communicative. The property was spotless and well equipped. The beach was a short walk. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this beach house. We will be back

Only small negative was we were in town for a wedding and I originally planned on cooking for my sister and her husband , who were at a hotel ,and inviting them over. My sister is in a wheelchair and I found out the elevator was for cargo only so we had to make other dinner plans. As we were in Galveston we understood almost everything is elevated so we adjusted without a problem. So not a real negative.

Everything was absolutely beautiful! The house was super nice, the Host Daniel was very informative and timely with responses. The elevator was a big plus for being able to bring our bags and groceries upstairs. The price was amazing!

Just the distance to the grocery store... HEB/ Walmart was pretty far from us. But we should have stopped on our way there. There are other small grocery stores though.

The house was very nice. The kids enjoyed the community pool so much & the space of home. The owner was great at communicating & answering any questions or concerns you may have. We had a great time!

Just hate the stores like Walmart was 20 to 30 min away. If you bring a atv of any kind you can not ride on highway you have to ride through neighborhood to the water tower then cross over to the beach.

Love the home, clean upon arrival. Had entertainment for kids, bbq pit for use, balcony in master bedroom, love the master bathroom, washer and dryer with washing needs, community pool. Really didn't have to bring anything but our clothes and food. Daniel had everything else pretty much, and he was so nice, helpful, and understanding. Would definitely book this home again. We brought our side by side, and we were able to access the garage to store it in and ride around the neighborhood as well to the beach.

Bring all your groceries. No grocery store near.

Owner was great about communication! Location was 20 minutes to Galveston. Liked that it was not in a busy area. Beautiful clean, safe feeling neighborhood. Peaceful! Rooms were large. Plenty of space. Decorated nicely. The lift/elevator was amazing to haul our stuff up! Enjoyed the games provided and community pool. Hammocks were an added fun touch!!

The house was fantastic! In a very nice quiet neighborhood. Located down the beach a ways from the main attractions, so it was private and quiet. Owner was awesome. He returned my call/text immediately and was very helpful with anything we needed. Will definitely recommend this place, and will go again. The electrical lift saved us tons of trips up and down with heavy luggage and items. The grounds were well kept, groomed and very clean. Lots of parking for multiple cars, and storage located on first level. Five stars!
