Wish the cabanas weren’t so pricy.

We loved that we didn’t have to leave the property. All of the restaurants served delicious food. The pools and lazy River were so refreshing and relaxing. The adult pool was a plus.

Staff was rude when checking in. Had to rebook as my original booking was canceled as I didn't arive the night before due to delays. A courtesy call/text to tell me my booking would be canceled would've sufficed. And of course the new booking was extra, so good on them for making a couple extra bucks off my back. Once in the room the shower had 1 setting...hurricane force winds. Just enough pressure to leave the floors wet when coming out of the shower.

"Systems down" the entire stay meant we needed to be let into our rooms every time we had to go up to the room (room keys didn't work). Internet was poor and intermittent. One pool attendant working the entire kids pool meant I had to chase them down to place an order for food and drink. Staff seemed just as frustrated as we were. Arcade could only accept cash. Just a lot of frustrating moments for an extremely expensive hotel

Facilities were super clean and staff were amazing.

Having to pay $40 a day for valet parking. Also, self parking there was a fee as well. Parking should’ve been free for guess.

The "Villas" or new buildings of room are sold as upgrades but they are underwhelming. Those rooms are VERY similar to a Holiday Inn Express. The main hotel building is definitely the better option.

I've loved staying at the Omni before. Nice hotel.

CAUTION,! Money fraud and incapable reception staff!! The resort held more than 9000$ in "deposit"!!! Service is nonexistent not at the entrance to the hotel nor the front desk! We arrived at 8 pm and were told that they need a credit card to charge a deposit of 100$ per night, which is OK, but a minute later this statement was corrected and we needed to deposit the whole amount of the 6-day stay in advance (we want to pay partially in cash at the end). I started to notice deductions on one of our credit cards, daily. No one during check-in bothered to inform us that charges of food and other stuff were "held" immediately during each night and didn't ask us which of the cards to use as the main one (turns out that at the end they" hold" each purchase on all cards!)! I went to the reception and Nathalie started arguing with me that we didn't give several cards during check-in. "No you did not!" - but yes we did. After 5 min with no apology or even mentioning that I was right, she found the cards (plural!) She simply asked which one to charge from now on. So I told her, but she didn't manage and called her supervisor Margarita. Margarita did not say hello, just ignored me totally while assumingly fixing the issue on the computer screen. Check out the day!!!: it was worse than we expected, they hold more than 9000$ on our credit cards, I spent an hour again with Margarita to release all the charges and also the deposits as again we wanted to pay partially in cash. They double charged/hold the amounts on all cards due to an error while checking in, even though I approached them several times during my stay they continued to charge each card.

The resort itself is a dream, with beautiful pools, a nice room, and a great place to relax. the food options are ok but nothing special. The resort is kept clean and properly equipped.

paid extra for the balcony view of the parking lot, balcony was small and uninviting, not a nice place to sit out on. The main italian restaurant was very poor for a five star hotel. We had dinner there news years eve and it was awful. Other food options were limited for the resort size.

The reservation system is a joke. Never worked properly - online or by phone. The records of the reservations were full of errors throughout the process. Staff at Broadway cafe were rude. Front desk offered an upgrade saying it was closer to the event, but it was actually three buildings away. Billing was incorrect for both event services and hotel services. And so much more.

Destiny at the front desk and Trey at valet are the two staff members that saved the Staff rating here. If not for them, the staff rating would have been poor. Anastasia at the front desk was unhelpful

Brutal traffic, burned out staff and greedy practices

Construction at Championsgate as well as at the resort is causing a lot of issues for this property. Chaotic traffic is happening 24/7 meaning you'll sit in gridlock for at least 30 minutes every time you try to leave the hotel. Internet was down in a 5 mile radius because the workers hit something; staff are overwhelmed by conventions and appear burned out, were almost unable to even check me in. One guy's eyes were barely open, the girl seemed like it was her first day and couldn't use the system. Omni used to be great but they are really suffering from corporate mismanagement and greed. They tried to charge me $150 for a late checkout when they had plenty of availability, that's the opposite of hospitality. That's a hotel that wants to attack its customers. Very aggressive and abusive practices. Despite being a loyal guest up to this point, our stay was so bad I will find another spot in Orlando from now on.

the Omni has a great reputation and I was very disappointed with my room. there were clothes left by another guest in the closet (indicating that house keeping did not even open the closet), there were many hairs all over the bathroom floor, I ordered room service and my order was not correct. overall, just very disappointed and had high hopes for the quality of service I would receive at the Omni

Corporate greedy hotel, chaotic traffic and outages caused by construction

Omni is showing signs of "corporate-itis"; their front desk staff are brand new and incapable of managing reservations. One guy could barely keep his eyes open and couldn't hear a word I was saying. Very frustrating trying to get checked in. Wanted $150 for a late checkout and aggressively called my room seeing if I wanted to pay this. Finally, Orlando is doing massive construction right at the Championsgate exit (adding an extra lane on I-4) so there will be chaotic traffic for 2+ years coming into this hotel. While I was there, the internet was down for the entire area because these construction people hit something. Super chaotic and stressful experience. Suggest avoiding Omni Orlando until around 2024 when the madness is over.

Valet team is really good. Took great care of my car.

some parts felt a bit outdated, the staff at Zen was horrible. almost intentionally rude. our first room was dingy. they moved us to a nicer one. dining choices weren’t great, and hotel seemed far from everything and smothered in traffic. it was our wedding and although something from the hotel would have been nice, they didn’t do anything special. our friends tried to send us something and they still delivered it to the wrong room. it didn’t feel like we were celebrating anything because we felt like we kind of had to just exist and get through our stay rather than enjoying it. there wasn’t a luxury factor or anything that made it feel like a getaway unfortunately. there was just a feeling of being slightly annoyed for the time we were there. it wasn’t bad, i just feel like I would have rather stayed home .

staff was friendly and accommodating. lazy River was fun.

busy turnabout and hated how very far away the buildings are from each other and there is no one in those buildings to get assistance with anything. the door to our building was unlocked and opened with no staff and the others were locked for keycard. you could enter the property and drive right up to the building we were in, enter it, kick a door down and stay there or attack someone and the omni would never know.
