One small thing I've noticed. When I first opened my room, an unfresh odour reached my nostrils. Like someone hasn't opened my room for a while - a couple of weeks or so. Of course, I've opened a balcony door and all smells disappeared in a moment. The second thing - the tiles on the pool walls. Some of them were broken and couple are missing. When I was in Tara Court several years ago with my wife, we haven't seen things like that. I think management shall look at these minor things and fix them.

Breakfast is great. As usual. Big choice of meals, breakfast and lunch dishes. When the bar is open.

Took 2 attempts to repair the toilet hose when it was obvious a replacement was necessary, never mind TIT :)

Always a good stay here with large rooms at a fair price, pool is as advertised with enough sunbeds and some shade if required. Staff on reception and in the bar very friendly and professional.

Nothing really. Slight disagreement about a towel that had some sun tan lotion on it. They demanded 1200bht for new. This was rediculous. Took it to a local laundry, gave it back like new. Issue solved. Very poor attitude considering friends and family ate regular in the restaurant and spent a lot in the Bar. I think you get my point. Left a little disappointed

As helpful and serviceminded the daystaff was, the nightstaff was to say the least grumpy heaven forbid you ask them a question. The cleaning of the rooms is a joke. But the cleaning is the only really negative about the hotel.as you can easily live with a surly nightstaff.

the only small bad point is the steps going into the pool they are small stones on top of steps which when you walk on them they would hurt feet also pool area could be updated a little but the pool good aslo could do with some umberelas around pool

the rooms are very big ,with full kitchen bedroom very big with good bed staff excellent bar and restaurant fantastic food lovely and full english couldnt fault

the location and restaurant , it is also quiet . it is not an apartment complex full of loud tourists , there are permanent residents living there too . great staff in the bar and the cleaners were very helpful as well

Sadly the service let the place down. I beleive he Hotel is no longer under european management / ownership. Staff really do need training. Reception and the resuarant saff in paricular many orders were wrong, One American man asked for Lamb chop and fried rice and was given Pork chop and boiled rice. It was unusual in 2 weeks stay to attend the resturant and see everyhing go smoothly. Language was one problem, Most of this could be fixed with training, Pool area needs attenion it has seven sun loungers four located in the shade a table and a chair. The area is huge and mainly empty. They were painting the walls and redoing the floor during my stay but the area needs some atmosphere, potted plants, sun shades ec would help. Mos imporant the pool needs complete re pointing and has big gaps around tiles with mould showing. Although room cleaning was very good it was impossible o know when they would arrive and it was usually late in he day when you needed he room. Best way is to ask for your room o be leaned at a cerain time.

The food a O'Garas Resurant was exremely good and very reasonably priced. I had what was adverised as a Small Breakfast and is was far too much for me wih excellent bacon, sausage, Egg, beans, tomaoes, fried poaoes toast coffee marmalade butter and orange juice all for less than £5. Sunday lunch was also exremely good Thai food on the menu was excellent. Rooms are large cleanliness excellent, Pool on the roof and small finess room in he basement. Beds large and cumforable.

Unfortunately the pool was being refurbished on my stay, it would have been nice for this to be included in the booking advert.

My second stay at Tara Court in 3 years. Still got great friendly staff and comfortable rooms.

We where not told before our holiday that the pool was closed for the duration of our holiday, because we don't like the beach, we would have changed our hotel if we had known this,everything else was very good.

No pool due to refurbishment of the stairs and floor. No mention of the 10% discount that could be had at the Irish pub for drinks and food within the premises until the last day!!

The size of the room. Comfortable and very clean. Excellent front desk staff.
