- it is quite noisy with the on-site bar - stayed in one of the attic flats which has very low ceilings so being taller hit my head a few times

Great location in a very happening part of Bristol. Lots of great cafes just up the road! The on-site bar & venue had comedy & music when I was there which was fun. Staff very friendly & helpful.

It is above a bar/venue just downstairs so it will be loud on weekend especially. Expect that. Definitely use earplugs and sleep mask if you’re a light sleeper, people don’t care if you’re sleeping. The music didn’t bother me, I rather be surrounded by others having fun

The staff were very friendly as soon as I arrived. The bed was super comfy. The room and bathrooms were always clean. The shower not as much but not terrible. It’s great for a few days. If you like to party this is definitely the best place, loads of venues and events happening. Bristol vibes are amazing in general! The city is very artsy and open minded people

Maybe make all the Dormitory rooms Gender Neutral, it puts the place more ahead on gender equality, we are much happier with each other when we are less segregated.

The Room that I stayed at was great value for money, it was actually better than some of the more expensive hostels within the same city I stayed at previously, all the toiletries were clean and reliable, the place has it's own concert bar/club that plays pretty good music, the hostel does pretty much have everything you ever want at a place to stay, also the staff were nice and friendly too.

The pillow was uncomfortable. The room was uncomfortably hot. It was abit of a mare as we had to make our own beds up but we arrived late at night and others were asleep so that was challenging.

The location was perfect right in the centre of town. The staff were friendly. Would defo recommend and would stay again.

Nothing I can think of. Just a heads up that there are plenty of events at the Full Moon Bar, so it does get noisy.

Value for money. It is backpackers, so don't expect anything extravagant.

Loud event going on. Door to room was small 😂 room was quite warm, they provided an air conditioning unit but we couldn’t get it to work when we arrived back quite late. There was a cigarette butt on the floor in our room.

Could be better isolated acoustically. It seemed hard / impossible to sleep while the pub downstairs was open. Or it should be more clear that the hostel is also a pub. But it wasn't a big problem for me

There was no lift and loads of stairs.

Walkable distance to the city centre. The staff were really nice, kind, and helpful. The inside of the building was pretty, with wooden halls and stairs. Each room/flat had a thematic name, which we thought was cute. The shared area between the rooms in our flat was clean, organised, and the kitchen served our needs. The bed was comfortable. There was a nice outdoor area with tables and chairs, and creative decoration.

Wifi dropped in and out, weak connection. Kitchen utensils and facilities were not well cleaned but might be a guest issue. No real community or close knit vibe like some hostels have.

Felt safe and private. Close to the coach station, great location. Bar noise was not an issue.

I wish people would stop making phone calls when in the dorms. The mattress covers are nearly too small for the mattresses, it's a struggle to put them on. Maybe just get mattress covers for double beds, which people will then be able to drape over the mattresses, like tablecloth over a table?

Well equipped large kitchen, safe for women who are single travellers. It's quite noisy (I use ear defenders as well as ear buds) when there's an event in the pub on the ground floor but the revellers can't walk into the hostel and wander around knocking on doors, vomiting in the corridors etc. so it's actually safer and cleaner than some house shares or apartment buildings!

Chgarged £40 as deposit upon arrival. Checked out at noon instead of 11 and half the deposit was taken. Whille understood that it's policy, never experienced such for just an hour delay.
