Lovely comfortable room and I loved the breakfast set up. Croissants delivered to room the night before with a choice of sandwich then jams, butters, milk, juice in fridge. We only stayed for the night between days out at longleat so the quick breakfast suited us and sandwich was packed ready for lunch! The restaurant had an extensive menu and the chips were amazing!!

Twin beds pushed together to make a double isnt ideal and would benefit from a mattress topper to cover the crack/gap.

The staff, food (dinner and breakfast) were great, thank-you. I really like to continental breakfast option.

Have not come accross anything to be honest.

Have not explored much from the location, as we arrived late in the evening. Seemed a little spooky , but in the morning when we left at day light, could see the little gem where the inn was located, away from everyday traffic, surounded by nature. Loved the fact that we got complimentary tray with water, juice , tea, coffee, a a little bottle of milk. I love lots of milk in my coffee, and always struggle with those little capsuls what other hotels provide, as that's not enough for me. It made such a difference for us to have some drinks provided, is not much but we did ran out of drinks and was supper to have some in the room. Loved the idea of the little fridge expecially if you stay longer than one night. The bathroom was looking so clean and so beautiful, nice air freshners as well. Overall the room was super cosy and clean. For breakfast we got croissants with gem, butter, or milk and cerelas (few options provided). And tasty sandwiches. For myself and partner was more than sufficient. The location it's not far from Bath if travelling with car, like 25 minutes, and the hospitaand service worth it. Thank you for all staff for making our stay so pleasant. Definitely will be back and would recommend.

The room was very hot and even though a fan was provided it was pretty ineffective.

The room was well equipped and comfortable, the on site Italian restaurant was very good, staff were very friendly. Whilst there was no cooked breakfast provided, the continental breakfast provided in the rooms was great and plenty of it!

It would have been nice to have a bar to drink around, but not a real issue. Creaky floors in the corridor need to be addressed. would have been good to have an option of a hot breakfast or being told in advance - but it was nice.

Nice restaurant in the premises and good car park facilities. staff were very good and the place was clean and tidy, meeting my needs. provisions were left in the room.

There was nothing we didn't like, the duvet was a little warm but the weather has been so changeable, plus a little slippery getting in & out of the shower too.

We all loved the room the decor is lovely, the size too even though there were 3 of us in there, plenty of room. The layout was perfect. The breakfast was fantastic loved the fact we had it together in our own room. The croissants were lovely & the sandwich too, thank you 😊

Advert said bathrobes were in all rooms, but not. I asked, but was told they don’t have robes in the rooms, it’s a mistake on booking.com, but not really a problem. Continental breakfast was plentiful and generous, but no choice of cooked breakfast even though it’s above a restaurant. Lovely room, but there was something about the doors that seemed lightweight and not private or secure. The shower wasn’t very hot early evening, but ok later on and in the morning. The beds were 2 single beds pushed to make a double and the joint was a bit annoying, understandable, but maybe put an extra thick mattress topper on. TV could have been bigger. The survey is asking us to write what we didn’t like…even though we’ve written the above, it didn’t take away from the good experience of our stay, we were very happy, and relaxed.

The inn is situated in a very pretty area. Decor of the room was lovely and very cosy. Everything seemed very clean and organised, from the rooms, up to the service. Nice new bathroom and spacious shower. Great value for money compared to competitors. Hairdryer had extra long cable which is great to move about and get close to a mirror. Lots of storage. Great to be so close to the restaurant with a buzzing atmosphere. Had dinner there and food was lovely. Nice outdoor space, a bonus for partner as he smokes. Fantastic having a free car park. Lovely staff, very relaxed informal atmosphere. Room was nice and quiet and great to be so close to outside space, reception, bar & restaurant and car park. Because of all this, we would definite stay if in the area again.

The breakfast set up. It said a continental breakfast will be served in your room. The milk was not fresh milk but longlasting which I do not like . The croissant was given the night before... no butter .. no jam . I could not eat the cereal as I did not like the milk.

The staff were wonderful . The bed was great. The supper the night before was excellent!!

Whilst I do understand the need to be able to provide x2 single or a double facility in the same room, single beds pushed together to form a double isn't ideal and would benefit from a good 'mattress-topper' to minimise the gap/join.

The staff, room and dinner were all great. Ample free off-street parking The breakfast arrangements really suit my needs.

Corridor a bit noisy when walking through (creaky floorboards) ie when people leaving rooms at 5.30am. Restaurant food OK but nothing special for the price.

Continental breakfast option in room with fridge and included sandwich. Location great for Longleat.

Nothing, I would highly recommend. Do take note that you can't check in until 5pm as it is a restaurant. It does say this when booking. This was not a problem for us at all.

What a fabulous place! In a lovely quiet spot and above a much loved restaurant, we really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were friendly and helpful. We knew a cooked breakfast wasn't going to be served in the morning but we had everything we needed in the room (cereal, milk, water, tea & coffee, orange juice in the fridge), plus croissants and sandwiches for our onward trip the next day. It was a lovely touch given I thought I was going to miss having a cooked breakfast (I didn't miss it at all). Dinner in the restaurant was brilliant too and reasonably priced. Looks like it is well loved by the locals too.
