They don’t state when booking that you have to pay a £200 deposit. They also don’t tell you that you don’t get it back for at least 2 weeks after you check out. I would suggest a holding deposit so that travellers are not inconvenienced waiting ages for money back

A little noisy at the back of the apartment because of the restaurant immediately underneath the windows.

Very modern and clean with a good WiFi connection and Sky TV. Close to all areas of WGC as based on the heart of the two centre.

Parking was very difficult. The sofa was not particularly comfortable (think it might have been a sofa bed). View from the bedroom was awful, the owners should consider putting up a net curtain to preserve privacy.

Excellent location in the middle of the town . The apartment was modern and clean. There was a well equipped kitchen where we cooked Christmas lunch. Bathroom was very nice, great shower. The block was very quiet.

Location rather noisy intermittently as early bin collection everyday (including glass collection about 3am one day!) some missing basic kitchen utensils (eg scissors) and dishwasher not working (engineer never came)

No convenient parking. No space in kitchen to store any groceries. Unnecessary large fridge/freezer for two people. Would be better to have more storage space. Crockery and cutlery a bit limited - ie. only one teaspoon! Maybe time to replace couch in lounge. Seating very hard and uncomfortable. Maintenance should be done before guests move in. Not the day before they leave.

The apartment is spacious and light. Also clean. Location is great for shops, restaurants and the train station. Communication from Portfolio admin was very good.

Not a negative, but we arrived late and shops were closed it would have been great to add the option for more of the welcome pack to include dinner items for us or takeaway options, again, not the biggest problem just advice for you

I liked the apartment, it was perfect for me and my partner, It was great having a view over the fountain and having sky movies was a great bonus.

The whole booking took so long see 1 and 2 1. booking with Booking.com and payment all done. 2. then having to confirm booking with Portfolio Apartments on line and an unexpected £200.00 apartment deposit to pay! No warning of this extra was "obvious" plus a 2 week waiting period for a hopeful refund. I did call the lady in charge at the end of booking as I believed I could be SCAMED as P. Aptmts return emails had a string of Hash letters attached at the top of her emails?... She assured me the opposite.

• There can be some slight noise in the late hours on weekends, due to the Two Willows pub being located right next door. • The kitchen was not exactly “fully” equipped, mostly in terms of ample cookware/utensils. Aside from that, however, it was quite prepared!!

It was a very nice, modern, and cozy stay that was in a very optimal location. Near both the large park/green areas, yet also conveniently close to a plethora of shops and dining choices!

No dedicated parking, but plenty of on-street from 6pm-8am and carparks close by.

Super clean, well equipped and loved the keyless entry/exit. Great location in the centre of Welwyn Garden City, yet still very quiet in the evening. Lovely views of the fountain.

The couch was hard and not very comfortable. The bed creaked a little and could be bigger. Street noise in the morning hours.

Beautiful apartment in a good place. Close to the shop, restaurant, bus and train station. Contactless check in and check out. Welcome pack with tea, sugar, cookies and water. The bathroom was nice. Possibility of choosing light intensity. Using the code to open the door, so no keys were necessary.

We had a bit of trouble entering the apartment as I was given the incorrect code for the apartment door. I had to call the after hours number to let them know and the person on the line solved the issue, but didn't seem too enthusiastic having to answer the phone after hours.

They do not refresh things like bin bags and dish washing block no matter how long you live there.

It is in downtown. Very convenient. You may cook. They provide cookers. It is nice.
