The room opened directly onto the road, which meant no need to go through corridors etc. The room itself was quite modern, which all the faculties one expects. The lighting set up was also very pleasant, with many options. The property was also very clean. The property also provided very convenient bed slippers. The bed was very comfortable. The host Seb was great!

The location is a bit off from the central part of Cambridge (it is about 10-15 mins away) - still a pleasant walk through the neighborhood to reach the city centre. The blinds did not completely block the light, but there was a night mask that was provided. The road outside was occasionally somewhat busy and noisy.

I had a fantastic view from my window; the host was welcoming. The location was great. Overall, one of the cheaper options available. It's great for travellers who need a cheaper central London base, but wouldn't suggest as a choice for a holiday setting.

Unfortunately, how the room was advertised including the photos didn't quite tally with the real thing. It's ok if the room isn't super, but please don't advertise it as something it is not. Sadly, the room was very cramped with a cupboard on the bed, which in general makes me very uncomfortable (there were no photos suggesting this). The bed itself was not comfortable. The kitchen lacked basic utensils, despite having an oven and fridge/freezer (somewhat useless arrangement). There was no place to hang clothes, but there was a three drawer shoe cupboard (!) put in place of a ?night-table, which however, was still too high to serve that purpose. Also, the neighbors above were unfortunately fond of night-walking and the footsteps could be heard, which was quite annoying.

The unit was modern and tastefully decorated. The electrical was great with lots of plugs and ports. Communication was efficient and timely and the doors were keyless entry. The on street parking was not an issue.

We were up a flight of stairs which could be a problem for a person with mobility issues but the stairs are wide and had handrails.

My three friends (family) stayed on the upper third floor… the stairs were narrow and because their luggages were heavy.. they could not carry luggage to their room Since we booked two apartments and ours was on the ground floor.. we had to help unload their luggage stuff to carry it up to the third floor

The shuttle bus from the airport just a few Kms away is very unreliable. The doors slamming in the middle of the night. The meal in the restaurant was not edible. The pizza had lots of tinned mushrooms on it which tasted off. The salad was coated with cheap mayonnaise.
