The room had no iron but had an ironing board nor was there a hair dryer so we had to ask reception for these. We had to change rooms due to a leak in the bathroom, the room we were moved to whilst lovely, didn’t have any tea/coffee making facilities or supplies and the quooker tap wasn’t working. Neither room has sockets near a mirror which makes drying your hair a little difficult.

    Stylish, great location, friendly staff

The air-conditioning wasn't explained and took a while to figure out.

This was an absolute dream. From the moment we walked in everyone was friendly and helpful, from the GM (who was working like everyone else) to the receptionists & late staff. Asking what we had planned each day, and enquiring what we had done when we got back but in such a friendly way it felt really genuine. They also gave us suggestions for where we could visit if we go back to Liverpool. The room was really nice, a big comfortable bed, a wardrobe big enough for a few days worth of clothing for 2 people, and a few drawers too. The Bathroom has stunning features, with a rainfall shower, jacuzzi bath, feature wall, and quirky yet cool sink. I can't praise this hotel enough, we are already looking at returning here again next year.

The property was in excellent condition with super clean rooms and friendly staff. I think it must have been recently renovated as everything felt new. We didn’t eat there but the Thai food smelled delicious. We had drinks at bar which was fun. The staff were really friendly. It’s a nice area , with several bars close by. It’s only a short drive to the dock area/shopping area and a 20 min walk. Would thoroughly recommend.

These are just observations not complaints: Wet room whilst a great idea leaves the bathroom floor swimming with water for a long period of time. Not practical. Toiletries were removed after cleaning and not replaced. No tea in the room -only coffee which could have been remedied if we’d asked. Breakfast on day one includes a choice of either a hot or cold drink and an option to pay extra for additional drinks. Oddly on day two we were offered both free of charge.

Beautiful hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean. Good breakfast. Lovely staff. A special mention to Marnie who was most helpful.

There was nothing to dislike about this gem of a hotel. Only been open a few months so everything is brand new.

Most beautiful hotel. Decor is exquisite. The bed and pillows were perfect and we slept really well. Excellent location for the city centre, train stations, Cathedrals, Philharmonic hall and the Empire Theatre. All within walking distance. Not too far from the waterfront but taxi's are very good value plus you get good city knowledge off the driver. The staff were outstanding and some of the friendliest people we've met. Had Sunday lunch in the restaurant before leaving and it was gorgeous.

    There was nothing to dislike

It was spotless, which to me is the most important thing.. We went with friends to a concert at the Philharmonic. It was only a minutes walk away from the hall, Surrounded by places to eat, and lots of pubs. I will definitely stay again .. I was very pleasantly surprised

    Absolutely nothing

The staff at the hotel couldn't do enough for us. The lady from reception even put a lovely note in our room and a bunch of red heart balloons on our return from our evening out. The breakfast was superb. The jacuzzi bath was brilliant and very spacious. The gentleman serving at the bar was very polite and helpful also. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough.

Could benefit from more shelving in bathroom - nowhere to put toiletries. No toast, cereal or top up drink offered with cooked breakfast which was otherwise delicious. May have been available but we had to leave early & didn't ask. My breakfast fork was dirty, otherwise very clean.

Lovely new hotel, very glitzy! Comfortable, cosy bed, good quality linen, nice thick duvet. Bathroom sink spectacular! Tasty, good quality freshly cooked breakfast to order was extra £15 a head. Cheerful staff. Great location & reasonable parking alongside the Philharmonic Theatre virtually opposite £8 12 hours, £16 24 hours.
