Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomA let down of the stay was the cleanliness of the shower floor, it had a clear build up of brown shower mould in certain places. This sort of build up of dirt should not happen with regular cleaning. I think it should also be standard for the price of the room to receive a bottle or two or still water. I had to run down stairs to the bar and paid £5 for water! Which is crazy.
I liked the comfort of the bed and the room was a great size.

United KingdomNot a fan of the scrambled eggs at breakfast. A luggage rack and some sort of hand/body lotion wouldn't go amiss. A small additional cost for a quite pricey room.
Fantastic location, spacious room, huge comfy bed. Breakfast was almost perfect and really felt like a special treat with table service, and nice cutlery. Best hotel breakfast I have enjoyed in a while. Blackout curtains very welcome for early morning sun. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

United KingdomOne tiny negative was the room was quite dark (not enough lighting) - this wasn't at all a massive problem just an observation. Other than that I can't fault it at all.
Absolutely beautiful hotel, very clean and well decorated. The roof top bar was fantastic, boasting superb views. It couldn't be in a better location, easy walking distance to everything you could possibly need which was a big bonus.

United KingdomThe roof top bar is closed Mon/Tue, reception desk didn't tell us this when we asked for info about it, we were just told we needed to book a table. We couldn't visit on the Bank holiday Monday like we'd planned. Disappointing as this is your main photo and selling point. Wouldn't stay here again.
Didn't have breakfast, £24 each too expensive. Found great breakfast half the price at private cafe. Room/bathroom good size.

United KingdomKey cards are a faff. There were 3 adults and 2 keys it was a problem solving exercise every time one of us left the room. Pull out bed was very uncomfortable. They didn’t have enough space for breakfast, we ended up in the bar with a low table, made eating breakfast difficult
