This charming retreat is a jungle resort and themed to be a Thai Village from over 30 years ago, without missing all the amenities and services of a typical 5 Star Hotel. Grass-roofed teakwood villas blend with traditional Thai influences and a charming feel rustic. Guests won't find golden faucets and white marble here. Together with the tropical jungle, its sand paths, and the authentic Zeavolians is what will spark the magic. We stayed at this hotel for only 2 nights and wish we stayed longer. This was a dream location for our honeymoon! Our entire experience was simply unforgettable. We also enjoyed the barefoot concept. The breakfast buffet was FIRE. We were also able to book a private boat for the island tour directly at the hotel (don't get the ones at the pier!!)

The place is a paradise, a gem in a beach full of palms. I could not expect something like that. Pictures do not express the reality

Viking Nature Resort is a 5-minute walk from Long Beach and a 25-minute walk from Ton Sai Pier. Offering classically furnished rooms, the resort has luggage storage and a tour desk. Free WiFi is available in the rooms. There's a bit of a walk from the reception to the room, but it grew on us very fast, until we came to love it. If we would ever come back to Phi Phi, we would book this same hotel and this same room, as it was a nature retreat that was quiet and healing. The room has everything you would need, including a minibar. There are secluded beaches everywhere and more popular spots, like Long Beach, which I really recommend. It is far away from the hustle and bustle of touristy downtown, precisely what we wanted. At night, you can hear the sounds of the sea and all of the nature surrounding you. The hammock on the balcony is perfect for lazy summer days or nights, away from all the noise. Perfection!

We loved it. Really good experience. Long beach is paradise, really nice beach to swim and do snorkel. The staff at the hotel were all super nice. Great breakfast. Nice comfortable rooms with awesome views of the bay. Just 5 min away from tonsai by taxi boat so its really not a problem that its a bit far. Very clean. Restaurant is really good with option of room service which comes in handy in case of rain!

At the Marine Discovery Centre, experts educate and inspire guests and locals with sustainability efforts including raising baby sharks and clownfish. BOOK this resort now! LOVED everything about it. It was heaven. The staff were amazing. It has two huge pools and a beautiful private beach/ river to swim in. Loved the little village behind us to get a massage, drink, food, book tours or chat to locals! The individuals bungalows were absolutely gorgeous! Honestly probably the most beautiful unique resort we have ever stayed at. The staff were so accomodating and friendly. The resort is quite large but not a problem as they have a buggy service that picks you up within two minutes to take you places. We only used that at night as enjoyed riding the complimentary push bikes around the resort during the day. The restaurant was amazing. The seafood was the best we had in Thailand. The buffet was incredible. It was quiet and comfortable. Loved how it was away from the main part of the island. And don’t let that put you off either, you can easily get a long tail boat to and from the main island town. We would’ve love to visit again. We had three nights there and that was a good amount of time for us.

We loved the breakfast, it had a lot of selection. You can order eggs any way and they’ll make it for you right away. The location is central to everything. Even though we were close to party bars, it didn’t keep us awake at all. The beds were quite firm, but room was lovely and clean. We didn’t have a chance to use the pool, but it looked nice and had lots of room for everyone. We liked it so much, we tried to stay another night in the bungalows, but all they had left were building rooms. Both types of rooms were lovely. Bungalows can feel quite small if you have a lot of luggage.

The location was wonderful and the staff very attentive and friendly. Even if short, our stay was perfect. Would definitely come back for our next time in Thailand!
