To go on djungle tour just for even one day with Jack was really worth all the money as he taught and showed us lots of things, especially orangutans, which actually live in the tree tops due to being afraid of carnivore roaming around like tigers. On Borneo they are living more on the ground, probably because there are no tigers... Things you don't really need to know, but to show off with at anytime, haha. Jack's singing of Shanties on the rafting tour at the end was very entertaining! After reading the reviews here one more thing: If you feel bothered by a muezzin's voice in the morning, don't travel to a country with a Muslim majority!!

Very beautiful location with excellent food and nice areas for snorcheling. Accommodation and toilets are very clean and i appreciate there are also european toilets, which was comfortable for me. I also enjoyed the outdoor gym and other sport activities as kayaks, voleyball etc. Compared to other islands in Pulau Banyak there are almost none mosquitos. Staff was very helpful with organizing transport to and from tailana island. Thank you for pleasant stay and i hope i will have opportunity to come again.

Not at Palambak. incredible place, incredible staff.

The perfect place to hang out and unwind for a few days. If you really want to be on a remote island, go there! The bungalows are very nice, right on the beach and with a perfect view. Ira is always good humoured and very friendly. She makes great food, very tasty juices and beautiful coconut drinks. Vicky was helpful with organizing transportation. On the island, we snorkelled, walked and simply relaxed. We also went to Kimo Resort on Panjang Island for two nights, but Ira Bungalows was a lot better.We took quite a long time to get there because our boat was 4h late from Singkil. Maybe consider taking a private speedboat.

Although there are many bungalows with sea views in the area, the Iboih Inn is the only accommodation that offers sun loungers and lounge areas by the water. Perfect for lazy days or a relaxed morning with a delicious homemade breakfast. This also makes it very easy to strike up a conversation with other travellers. You can snorkel directly from the jetty to a beautiful coral reef. There are very good restaurants nearby with a view or right by the sea. The owners helped me with all the activities and were kind enough to take me to the local market, which was a great experience! I would come back anytime, thank you❤️
