Facing the seafront in Kota Belud, Bigfin beach resort features a private beach area. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a garden. The property provides sea views and a terrace. Feels like a hidden gem and private paradise. Great dive shop with charismatic guides, nice boat, sufficient equipment. Great to wake up to a view of Mt Kinabalu and all the food was really lovely home cooking and tasted great. It felt like living in a little community for a couple of days :)

Situated amidst abundant greenery, Sepilok Nature Lodge - Formerly known as Sepilok Nature Resort is a haven for nature lovers. Dinner was delicious and the staff were very helpful. The front desk even stayed open longer to help us check in late - very much appreciated!

We were very happy about the fact that we had a beach. The usage of the other hotels within this resort was allowed - that was amazing! Great gym and the rooms were pretty big. Excellent!

Timba Garden FREE TOWN AND JETTY TRANSPORT has a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Semporna. This 5-star resort offers a shared kitchen, room service and free WiFi. Great little spot in a jungle neighborhood. Super friendly owners. We were hungry when we arrived and they were making chicken curry for their lunch, and added us to the preparations. Very unique location. I slept really well then off the next day for diving.

Featuring 3-star accommodation, Kokol Haven Resort is situated in Kota Kinabalu, 15 km from Filipino Market Sabah and 11 km from Likas City Mosque. Breakfast is ok but the view in the environment is like in heaven 10/10

Staying at the resort feels like being in paradise. The architecture and gardens are stupendous. The staff are exceptionally friendly, helpful and efficient. A special mention must be made of the quality of the food : it is almost unbelievable to discover such a talented chef in the middle of the jungle : the restaurant can compete with the best in Kuala Lumpur or Singapore. We would come back only to have another taste of the bamboo chicken!
