Crusoe’s Retreat is a small boutique-style property situated on Fiji’s famous Coral Coast. This small resort offers bungalow accommodation surrounded by tropical gardens and white sandy beaches.

The resort offers a choice of Fijian-style bures (bungalows) with views of the sea. All of the units have a covered verandah with seating area. The deluxe bures also have an outdoor shower.

Crusoe’s is definitely a hidden gem. The location is beautiful. We loved that there’s a restaurant area overlooking the beach. We have been to another resort on the coral coast since and it’s no where near as good as Crusoe’s. The local village next door is great for a visit as you really get the feel of the local Fijian culture. All the staff are so welcoming and go above & beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The friendliest people we’ve met in Fiji! You really do leave feeling part of the family. We will definitely recommend Crusoe’s to friends and family.

Great place for a weekend getaway from Suva. Located only 1.5 hours from Suva, the resort is all inclusive with activities and continental breakfast. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the place was so serene and relaxing. Will definitely go back if I have another weekend in Suva.

We enjoyed the whole experience. The resort being connected to the village provides an opportunity to see into the lives of native Fijians. We have made friends for life with the staff and some of the villagers. In addition, our fellow travellers are now also staying connected with us after our return to Canada. The staff are all wonderful and engaging, they spent time well beyond what we expected to insure our happiness and also knew when it was time to step back and just let us RELAX!

Great location, secluded, and in a beautiful cove. The resort is picturesque, with beautiful palms and coconuts lying on the beach. The resort looks much better than the photos give it credit for. The room was spacious, clean and tidy, was ready for us when we arrived even though we arrived quite early which was great as we’d had an overnight flight. Food in the restaurant was cheap and decent quality. Staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and accommodating for our needs.

The location was stunningly beautiful, set in a cove with views of the beach and ocean. However, the address given is 30 minutes away and the drive down to the resort is quite bumpy, with twists and turns and limited signage/ lighting.

I liked the location, being remote and the size of the resort. No-one was in your face, lovely and peaceful and relaxing. The bures were a great size and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and included in the price. Other meals were fine. The staff were very helpful and kind. Lovely having your own private beach and entertainment to enjoy in the evening.

What a beautiful place to stay! Such amazing views in and around this resort. Great place for us as we had our own hire car, difficult to get around otherwise as it is quite remote and off the main road.

Out of all our accommodation on our three week trip along the Coral Coast this was the winner by far. The bures are beautiful and the bed so amazingly comfortable. The staff are really happy and the selection of activities throughout the day are enjoyable as is the evening entertainment. The location is incredible. This resort gets a 10 out of 10.

The property is incredible! Secluded location but still easy enough to get a taxi to the closest town. The resort itself is beautiful, we had one Seaview Bure and one Seaside Bure and both were amazing location/view. The staff are amazing, so welcoming and remembered all our names. So many cool activities everyday and great food and cocktails! Will definitely be coming back next time I am in Fiji!
