If you want to see some real Africa, apart from the tourism route of Vic Falls/Livingstone, you should come. And your not only getting a good deal for a stay, you also support the school, Alex has founded. You can join clases, see how the teachers work, take a village tour or canu-ride in the sunset. The beds are nice and comfy, the bathrooms are clean and work fantastic. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. Otherwise, this is a place to relax from travelling. There is a huge camping area, if you come by care. I am a German solo female backpacker, I travelled a lot and I'd like to support this place, it meets all the requirements for a great hostel! Alex also takes care of the entire transport, all you have to do, is reach out. Have a great time there! Thank you, Alex, for hosting me, I loved it.

Karien, the manager, takes with her team care of the guest from arrival to departure. They were there, when needed, and went out of our way when we wanted to relax. The house was very clean und equipped with everything we needed. Awesome ! It is only a few meters away from the river and we had stunning views on the river at sunrise and sunset. Truly magic. We enjoyed the two-hour-boat trip as well. Junior was the Guide and he gave us the time we needed to look at birds and other animals. We enjoyed it and will definitely come back. Thanks Karien !

Nestled on the banks of the mighty Zambezi, Zambezi Dusk offers an enchanting escape with luxury safari tents blending the thrill of wildlife with supreme comfort. The location is amazing, right on the banks of the Zambezi. The staff were amazing when we asked for a table close to the river on the terrace,they said we will find you a better one and put us on the top deck of the hotel's boat for our own private meal.
