Located in Oudtshoorn, 3.2 km from Cango Wildlife Ranch, Sonas Boutique Hotel provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. Brand new house, only 3 rooms so very personalized. Staff were fantastic and very helpful, rooms were very big and facilities were lovely.

The only downside was having to leave this slice of paradise.

I will say that the hotel has a bit of a spooky vibe, but I think the power outage due to load shedding may have contributed to the vibe. we booked on a whim and were so happy to find this gem. It was an experience of its own, but close to Cango caves and everything in Outdshoorn.

Set in De Rust, 34 km from Oudtshoorn Golf Course, Hotel De Rust offers accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Beautiful Hotel situated in De Rust. Fantastic location, and excellent hosts. Room is neat with new towels and clean linen. Staying in this Hotel takes you back to the good old days, with modern luxuries you would expect such as good Wifi and an air-con in some of the rooms. Safe and secure parking behind a locked gate. We stayed over during the Meiringspoort Challenge, and the host arranged for us to keep our bicycles safely locked in the dining room of the Hotel. Breakfast included a race-pack for the mountain bikers, and the next morning we had a delicious breakfast with eggs, bacon, a hash brown and toast, together with a nice cup of coffee.
