The staff were super friendly and thoughtful, were always thinking one step ahead for us. The room was so nice, the bed very comfortable. We loved the little surprises when we came back after dinner. Alsof, we loved the atmosphere of the garden and the main house. Just perfect!!

Our stay at Cliffhanger Cottages was incredible and we would highly recommend it to anyone. The attention to detail left us wanting for nothing and we were absolutely blown away by the views, visible from everywhere in the cottage, including the shower! The braii on the balcony & watching the sunset over the mountains are truly highlights of a wonderful trip on the garden route. Close enough to Knysna for shops etc. but distanced enough to fully immerse and hear nothing but nature. Some amazing hikes nearby with waterfalls and streams to bathe in during the summer months. The challet is very cosy and confortable. The place is amazing between the trees and right in front of the sea. We like the braai facility provided and the kitchen was well equipped. Free parking was provided next to our challet. When the tide is low, it is a great long walk on the beach.

It is a great location to spend relaxing days surrounded by lovely people in the middle of the forest. We felt very welcomed. The dinner was very delicious. Tourist attractions as monkey land & elephant sanctuary are just a few minutes away. Plett is reachable in less than a 30 min drive.

The setting and the views, the decor was very unique. The room was fantastic , very comfortable, with great views from the bedroom and the bathroom. The hotel hosted a pizza and live music party on Friday night, which was great and is clearly the place to be on Friday night in Plettenberg. The staff were very friendly and on hand at breakfast to give recommendations for things to do in the area.
