The lodge boasts a spa, outdoor swimming pool and restaurant. decor, location. this lodge is located in a remote, nature surrounded area and the architecture and interior design of the place really mix that in.

But most importantly the hospitality of the owners, Jenny and Gavin, was absolutely amazing. They took us in like we were part of their family. They are taking very good care of their guests, preparing the perfect meals even taking into account any complicated allergies, sharing their stories and we had a lot of fun together. I would recommend Wendy’s country lodge to everybody coming to South Africa and this will be the first place I book when I’m visiting South Africa again. The location was superb, the house is located in a small game farm but very private. We didn't even get a glimpse of any of the other houses on the farm. The views over the KZN bushveld were fantastic and animals roam close to the verandah of the house.
