The guest house was comfortable and cozy. The electric blanket was an added bonus. I would definitely stay here again. The host made the house charming and had an attention to details.

El Skeiding Guest Farm es una granja activa de avestruces y ovejas situada entre las carreteras N2 y R322, a 20 km de Heidelberg, y ofrece vistas panorámicas de las montañas. The people who run this lovely homestay was one of the best I’ve ever encountered in the entire world. Upon arrival I was provided a generous full course dinner (don’t miss their ostrich steak!). The accommodation was a bit old but in perfect condition and comfortable. The optional farm tour, which starts at 7.30am, was definitely a highlight of my stay, where you can get really close with the ostriches and see the springboks. All I can say is if you pass by the area, stay there. You won’t regret it!
