Also the room was clean and comfortable. The best thing, however, was the dinner. Super delicious!

Potteberg Guest Farm, a property with barbecue facilities and a terrace, is situated in Malgas, 9 km from Breede River Trading Post, 11 km from Potberg, as well as 10.4 km from Potberg Hiking Trail... The guest house was comfortable and cozy. The electric blanket was an added bonus. I would definitely stay here again. The host made the house charming and had an attention to details.

Situated between the N2 and R322 and 20 km outside of Heildeber, Skeiding Guest Farm is a working ostrich and sheep farm with panoramic mountain views. The people who run this lovely homestay was one of the best I’ve ever encountered in the entire world. Upon arrival I was provided a generous full course dinner (don’t miss their ostrich steak!). The accommodation was a bit old but in perfect condition and comfortable. The optional farm tour, which starts at 7.30am, was definitely a highlight of my stay, where you can get really close with the ostriches and see the springboks. All I can say is if you pass by the area, stay there. You won’t regret it!
