Breakfast was freshly prepared with self help (upper class quality) coffee machine. Location was great for quick access to nature reserve as well as walking distance to village central.

Spotlessly clean hotel, perfectly located in the centre of Clarens with amazing views of the Drakensberg. Fabulous breakfast, extremely comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit to South Africa.

With picturesque mountain views, Mont d'Or offers French-style accommodation 50 meters from Clarens Golf Estate. It features a spa with massage facilities and an 18-hour attentive room service. What a gem! Welcomed by a roaring fire in the bar, had a couple of beers served by a friendly barman followed by delicious curry. Rooms spotless and well appointed, mine had a small wood burning stove. Don’t pass this place.

The breakfast was very delicious and served hot. I liked the location because we were close to the mall. It was even easier to get around.

Great getaway for couples to blow off steam and experience a romantic time. PODS have been equipped with such style and comfort. Cleanliness is impeccable. This is truly a HOME away frome HOME!!!!! Will certainly make this an annual trip.

The room was large and very comfortable with a fridge, kettle, microwave & TV. My room was decorated with inspiring and artful decor of a high standard. The linen, duvet & pillows were fresh, clean and plump, and the bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean. I arrived to a warm welcome and a serene setting in a beautiful garden. The location is superb as it is close to town but very peaceful next to a mountain stream. Restaurants are in walking distance.
