The Port Elizabeth Airport is 88 km away.... The staff was simply amazing, everyone was so nice and cheerful especially our buttler Anathi. The lodge itself is also very nice with clean and comfortable rooms. Our ranger was so dedicated and knowledgable and made sure we always got to see what we wanted. Thank you Mr President! The drives themselves were great, plenty of animal to see too.

We had three fantastic days at Amakhala Game Reserve, Bush Lodge. The tents were very comfortable and the food very good. The game drives were amazing. Our game driver Jono did a super job. very enthusiastic, very knowledgeable information given during the drives and he was fantastic at spotting the animals and very dedicated to making sure we saw as much and varied as possible.

Perfect for families. It even had an ice machine! There was no load shedding at all, which was a pleasant change. The area felt safe and the beach nearby is fantastic!
