Featuring mountain views, Ikwanitsha Lodge in Paterson features accommodation, a garden, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. We had a great time here! It's very close to Addo Elephant Park and Amakhala Game Reserve. The view from the bedroom is amazing and it was our best accommodation during our Garden Road trip. There is a restaurant in the property so very convenient to eat in the evening. The place is calm, very romantic and we could so zebras inside the property!

Situated within the Amakhala Game Reserve, Safari Lodge - Amakhala Game Reserve is a thatched lodge offering an outdoor swimming pool, garden and sun terrace. The Port Elizabeth Airport is 88 km away.... I had a wonderful stay at Amakhala Safari Lodge. The staff go above and beyond, the food is good and plentiful, and the suite is heaven. I recommend arriving by 2 PM on your check-in day so you can attend the afternoon drive. The drives are fantastic; the guides are very knowledgable and the reserve is huge. Come with a good attitude; you may or may not see depending on the weather or the fact that animals are unpredictable - but the guides will try their hardest! My guide Des made several efforts to find rhinos - even staying later than normal until we found them!

Set against a cliff above the Bushman's River valley, Woodbury Lodge is located in the malaria-free area of the Amakhala Game Reserve. Thanks to Kristin and Thando for the wonderful drives and excellent hosting. Thanks to Timothy for considering the special occassion and providing us with complimentary Champagne and the personal letter. It was really touching. Excellent game viewing

Located in the heart of the Amakhala Game Reserve, Woodbury Tented Camp offers an authentic outdoor experience in safari tents. The camp overlooks the ancient floodplain of the Bushmans River. We absolutely loved everything about this camp. Perfectly located, great pool, we felt like being on Safari at a friends house. Rob (the ranger) did an amazing job with two amazing game drives, we saw a lot of animals and had great fun. Even the shower in the tent was fantastic.

Situated in the Amakala Big Five Game Reserve, Bush Lodge offers an intimate lodge experience. It features an outdoor swimming pool, viewing deck and a number of game drives and bush walks. What can I say .. the accommodation was great, lodge staff were wonderful - caring, professional and friendly and catered to our needs. I've stayed at other lodges in South Africa but this stay was more relaxed, it felt more like a family stay. We met some other guests we now keep in touch with. Our guide Roan was the best, passionate and very knowledgeble and able to answer all questions and find animals and plants we wanted to see. And of course the wildlife and fantastic setting of Amarkhala were the icing on the cake!

Offering an intimate Big 5 safari experience, Quatermain's 1920's Safari Camp features a boma bonfire and BBQ facilities. It is located in the Amakhala Game Reserve. Excellent all round. Couldn't fault it.

Situated in Boesmansriviermond in the Eastern Cape region, Bushmans River Holliday House Retreat has a patio. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. Neat, convenient and comfortable.

Providing mountain views, Lalibela Game Reserve Lentaba Safari Lodge in Paterson provides accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a bar and a terrace. We had a wonderful stay. The accomodation was very nice, the staff was friendly and helpful and the safari was fantastic! We hope to be able to return soon again.

Situated in Paterson, 10 km from Karel Landman Monument, Camp Acacia offers accommodation with free WiFi, a terrace or a balcony and access to a garden and a year-round outdoor pool. Edwin who met us at the entrance was exceptionally friendly, helpful and professional, he made our stay even more memorable.

Featuring garden views, Bushys Oak offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 8.6 km from Dias Cross Memorial. The house is large and comfortable. Perfect for families. It even had an ice machine! There was no load shedding at all, which was a pleasant change. The area felt safe and the beach nearby is fantastic!
