The breakfast buffet is simple but filling and there's also a bar at the lobby, from which to order coffee and drinks later in the day. The location is absolutely unbeatable. It has extremely easy access to the major bus lines, taxi and Uber to move around the eastern side of the city, and is within walking distance of Plaza Independencia and la Ciudadela, as well as la Rambla. Above all, I loved the warm, personalized service the staff provided. This is not a large, branded hotel (it in fact felt more like a family operation), but its staff evidently take pride in the quality of their service. They were quick to offer information and assistance whenever we required it, but were very respectful and careful not to be intrusive.
