There were several aspects we liked about La Playita: 1) they are pet-friendly so we give them extra points for this; 2) the staff provided great service - special mention to Ronnie for accommodating our dietary requirements and to Grace for her prompt service; 3) the beach view from our room was fantastic; 4) the breakfast is really good, including fresh fish and fresh fruits; and 5) the free wifi is very strong, allowing us to work without any issues. We will certainly be back here next time we visit Borongan!

Nagtatampok ang Caluwayan Palm Island Resort & Restaurant ng restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, bar. at hardin sa Caluwayan. The staff was amazing! They helped set up a beautiful proposal for my son and his fiancé. They went to town and bought flowers, candles, and balloons. They set up a beautiful romantic spot. When she said yes they played music and had a romantic dinner spot set for them!!

I loved how friendly and kind and welcoming the staff where and how hard they worked and so polite very accommodating as because of manila airport I missed my flight and they still allowed me to check in late evening. The food in the restaurant was fantastic and I love rice and can't cook it to save my life the rice here was perfect and so cheap compared to England where I am from and I would highly recommend them to anyone

It is convenient to have the restaurant next door with value for money with generous portions in a relaxing environment. It is our go to hotel when in Tacloban. I have lost count of how many times we have been here now.

Amazing customer service, clean rooms, cold air conditioning, spa is just in the same building, with restaurant, bar and cafe, perfect location in the middle of downtown, great lighting interiors. Good a la carte food but buffet would even be more amazing because they serve the best buffet breakfast in the city pre-pandemic.
