A brand new hotel with superb views over the Colca Canyon. The restaurant overlooking the valley and mountains beyond is very good, with the alpaca dishes being particularly tasty. There was a better than average selection for breakfast, and service was attentive but not intrusive. The barman (whose name I didn't catch, sadly) mixes a very decent Pisco Sour. There is parking to the rear of the building. The staff (particularly Gaudi the receptionist/concierge) were friendly and genuinely seemed to want us to have a great time. Apparently there is a also sauna, but we didn't use it. The room was very comfortable, with an open (gas) fire and spa bath,. The kettle was a welcome addition.

We had a great stay at Colibri Inn, the bed was massive and very comfy, and they gave us jugs of hot water and tea/coffee to make in the room which was great. The absolute best part though was Lizbeth, who greeted us on reception, went out of her way to help us arrange a private taxi tour to see the condors at Colca Canyon, made us an early breakfast before we left and stored our bags for us while we were gone! She was brilliant and is a credit to the hotel.

Colca Canyon Hotel ligger i Chivay, under 100 m fra Chivay Arena og 200 m fra busstationen. The room has a balcony too and I really enjoyed the sunset there. The grandparents running the hotel are the warmest people. I was quite upset at a tour agency upon arrival. They kept checking on me when I’m downstairs to make sure I’m ok. And they told the guide to look after me. It’s so nice to have people like this when travelling overseas.

Sonqo Killa del Colca ligger i Chivay, 3,8 km fra La Caleras varme kilder og 3,8 km fra Colcas arkæologiske naturmuseum. The place is very good value with what they offer. Definitely very comfortable to sleep. They have free breakfast in the morning which was average. The location is 7-8 minutes by walk from the main square. You can book without hesitation:)

Colca Andina Inn har terrasse og ligger i Chivay i Arequipa-regionen, 1,1 km fra Colca Canyon og 200 meter fra Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Everything was great. Spacious room, comfortable beds, hot shower and amazing breakfast. The owner was very nice, she helped us with information and organized for us a tour to Colca canyon. Highly recommended place to stay.

Breakfast served early to facilitate early start to hiking in colca canyon. Two adorable and friendly dogs. Rooms were nice and clean. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Wish we had planned to stay longer.
