We loved the warm reception and daily routine that started with dear Gabriel good mood on breakfast till the sunset with the fishes in the evening. All perfect would give six stars if that was possible.

Such a cute place. Great for relaxing during the day and having fun at night (good for hanging out with the Friday crowd without having to pay for the whole thing). Staff was amazing and very friendly. Lots of spots to sit and chill too!!

Located over the sea at Carenero Island, the Faro del Colibri features a unique aqua-style with a private beach area, wooden docks, free Wi-Fi throughout and activities such as snorkelling. The space is awesome. You have your own little cabina right on the water. We had the last cabina which meant it was deep enough to jump off our own porch and swim right from our own space. It was so beautiful and a very unique experience. The breakfast included was a nice bonus feature as well. Friendly staff.

We never had the breakfast but the freedom allowed at the hotel was great. Coffee was available in the mornings, free of charge. In the evening, we were able to help ourselves to ice or glasses that we needed to make our own cocktails. The staff, specifically Ariel, and his dog Lobo, was great. He was very friendly and helpful. We loved that the hotel was so laid back, so close to Bocas Town, and yet had restaurants nearby that we could easily walk to. The view from the deck of our hotel room was great. And the owner, Mandy, was very helpful even though she was not at the hotel during our stay. If we ever come back we will stay at this hotel again.
