Tides Hotel is located on the banks of Maitai River, in the centre of Nelson. It features a restaurant, a heated outdoor pool and free WiFi access. On-site parking is available. Amazing staff very helpful and the place was super clean and modern would love to stay again!

The location was great for accessing the city and further afield. Parking is easy. The room was cozy and warm and I really loved having the shared lounge and kitchen to use. The door code system was easy to use and felt very safe.

One incident was that I dirty my shoes at a muddy beach and the staff kindly let me use a large cleaning sink to clean my shoes. Thank you and much appreciated. The location was very good with beautiful scenery - high and low tides right before your eyes. The room was vintage style, cosy and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Our family of 7 had dinner in the hotel restaurant - excellent! Highly recommend this hotel to visitors coming to the Nelson area.

A bonus to have restaurant onsite which had delicious food with great service at a excellent price. Bonus was all units on ground floor with parking outside units .
