Set in Amberley, The Amberley Hotel features a garden, restaurant, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. Nice, clean, new and a well laid-out room! The staff was phenomenal and flexible after I mixed up dates. Super restaurant downstairs met all of our dining needs. Great pie shop around the corner!

Set amongst mature trees and surrounded by the Southern Alps, this beautifully restored local landmark has been transformed into a resort with outdoor swimming pool, tennis and petanque courts. The hotel is in the center of town just a few minutes walk to the springs. The rooms are a good size and comfortable. The pool is a great place to unwind. The breakfast was more than adequate for us to start the day.

Stopped en route south - really easy to get to as just off main highway. Didn’t see much of the area but supermarket and take aways 5 minute walk away. Very quiet.

Located in Hanmer Springs, Woodbank Park Cottage is an architect designed stand alone cottage offering a log fire, sun terrace and BBQ facilities. Free private parking is available on site. Exactly as described and more. Small touches like the owner showing us around the cabin, the platter and fresh eggs from the farm, Towels for the hot springs. Plenty of wood. The most comfortable bed with plenty of blankets to keep you warm.

The St James Premium Accommodation is a 5 minutes’ walk from the Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa, restaurants and shops. Most accommodation overlooks Chisholm Park with views towards the mountains.... Lovely friendly staff from the minute we walked in, Paul showed us to our room and went through everything with us. It was raining and we wanted to walk to dinner, so I called the office to ask if there were a couple of unberrallas we could use, wasn't a problem at all. Room was super clean and modern, loved the heated floors made it so cosy, and had a wonderful view of the snow on the mountains. Thermal pools is a must and only a 2 min walk

Set on 26 acres, Amuri Estate Luxury Lodge offers accommodation with free WiFi. There is a guest lounge with a fireplace and a large patio offering stunning mountain and river views. The location is very scenic. To wake up to a sunrise over mountain ranges and the fields across from the lodge was a great experience. There was only one other family at the lodge on the night that we stayed, so we pretty much had the entire house for ourselves. The house was very well maintained. The library, kitchen, patio, the room, everything was just perfect. The hosts welcomed us with a bottle of local wine and cheese and fruits platter. They gave us great information about the area. Everything was just perfect
