The cottage is just lovely, spacious, well equipped, immaculately clean, comfortable bed, lots of deck space, designed for full sun daily in a beautiful location. Glynis was a wonderful, helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable host. We enjoyed seeing and speaking with her. This is an Island in the Gulf with no land line electricity, they rely on solar panels, gas and generator and Glynis made sure that there was enough power supplied while we were there. There was sufficient parking area on the road and the whole area, probably the Island is totally safe. Close to restaurants, small grocery outlets and a wonderful Irish Pub. The Island itself is stunningly beautiful with very diverse scenery, many great bush walks and spectacular beaches. The Island is a "Dark Sky Sanctuary" and we were fortunate enough to have one very clear night to be able to see the amazing sight from the deck. We are looking forward to returning for another holiday.

Aotea Lodge Great Barrier ligger blot 400 m fra Pa-stranden i et fredfyldt parkområde på over 1,5 hektar. The lodge was a perfect setting for our stay, we fortunately had pretty awesome weather so could make good use of the lovely outdoor decks. Our apartment was clean and well set up. Fiona, our host, was friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The lodge itself is just a short walk from Tryphena Bay, with an easy visit to the pub, cafe and local store.

Whalers Cottage byder på indkvartering i Whangaparapara med gratis WiFi og havudsigt samt grillfaciliteter, have og terrasse. Gæsterne har adgang til balkon. Whalers' cottage is in a lovely spot with superb views from the terrace and the upstairs bedrooms over the nearby inlet. It is in very good proximity of the start to the Aotea track. Unfortunately, the third and last day of the track was exceptionally wet and we arrived back at the cottage soaking wet. We soon forgot our wet journey once we were back at the cozy and warm cottage and had dried ourselves. It is a great place to relax and hang out with some friends. It is comfortable and fitted out with everything one needs for the stay.

Tipi and Bobs Waterfront Lodge ligger på Tryphena Waterfont med fantastisk udsigt. Der er gratis wi-fi. Ferieboligen har tv. Der er desuden eget badeværelse med bruser. Der er desuden sengelinned. Wonderful view, helpful staff and great location near shops and pub. Room was large and comfortable.
