It has a very relaxed and chill vibe, and Hans, the host, has plenty of recommendations for hikes, activities, etc. and makes sure everyone is comfortable.

Beautiful location and extremely nice room equipped with everything you need, plus a terrace and impressive views to the ocean and the rocky Alden. We hiked around the island and had a relaxing time in the room enjoying the stormy weather. We also got very good breakfast and dinner. And Elin was incredibly friendly and helpful! It was really the perfect weekend getaway!

The hotel has a history and a lot of nice old decorations well saved till now. The room(in the annex) has a good shower, heating, fridge, kettle and a professional hardier. The breakfast is good. There are hot tea and coffee available at reception throughout a day, you can have a take away lunch and coffee quite cheap. There is a boat available for guests free of charge.

The hotel staff is very friendly (especially the receptionist!) My room is spotless clean and the view of the fjord just adds even more charm into the room. The breakfast has so many different choices and is very delicious! The location is also very convenient!
