Lemonsjø Fjellstue og Hyttegrend er staðsett í Randsverk á Oppland-svæðinu, 46 km frá Gålå og býður upp á verönd og fjallaútsýni. What didn't we like? Everything was great. From the staff to food and location. It feels so homely and calm. The view from our room was directing the lake and we could just sit hours on end, enjoying the view. The lady at the check-in/out was just delightful; very helpful (helped us plan our next day's trip toward fjords), open and super funny. :) We would love to stay longer and explore the surroundings.

This is a fantastic location with some of the more interesting hiking and climbing routes in Norway, near the Jotunheimen Nasjonalpark. We choose the accomodation in the "Swiss chalet" and this allow us to save a lot of money :-) without losing the magnificence of the place and additional services provided by the hotel like for example the very good dinner (one of the best we have in Norway). The Chalet is really beautiful and extremely functional. Clean and full of services, like the shower and the drying room.

Overlooking Lake Øvre Sjodalsvatnet, Bessheim Fjellstue offers an in-house restaurant and accommodation with mountain views and private bathrooms. The Gjende Boat departs 5.5 km away. it is a cozy place and after a long long hiking made me feel like home

The Skjolden Hotel was the high point of my trip. I was passing through the area and stayed for three nights. I was immediately captivated by the view of the fjord, then stayed for the excellent food from the kitchen and the lovely staff. if I had the time I would have stayed for a week.

The hotel is stunningly situated. The suites at the hotel are beautiful with lots of local and historical details. The lounge area with large windows facing the valley is great for chilling out with a local beer in the evening. We only had a short stay but we’re spoilt for choice on the number of hikes from the hotel- they were all well sign posted and we got good advice from reception. Breakfast was in the lovely historic dining room and used local produce. The whole place is very friendly and full of character. Can’t wait to go back!

Housed in a building from 1897 in Lom, the historic Fossheim Hotel Lom offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with private bathrooms and cable TV. Lom Stave Church is 100 metres away. The location was perfect and the building itself was beautiful. Many artifacts throughout the hotel showing it’s history
