Situated along Hardanger Fjord, this waterfront hotel offers views of Folgefonna Glacier, indoor and outdoor pools, along with a private beach area. Wi-Fi access and private parking are both free. We booked this hotel as there were limited options and we wanted to do a few hikes in the area (Trolltunga and Dronningstein). We did not expect it to be much but WOW were we impressed! The hotel is extremely luxurious, the views to die for, the facilities world class plus with free paddle and row boats for unlimited use, indoor/outdoor heated pool, infinity pool, sauna, etc, and the continental buffet breakfast the best we’ve ever had at any hotel. The staff let us check in early when our bus arrived and even though check out is already fairly late at midday, they were happy for us to continue to use the facilities after check out.

This hotel is in Øystese Village, on the shore of the Hardangerfjord. It offers a restaurant and for additional cost pool and sauna access. All rooms have a flat-screen TV and some feature a balcony. The view from the hotel was spectacular. It was a quick and easy drive to Nordheimsund, which is where many tours take off. Like many other hotels in Norway, there is a wide and excellent selection for breakfast. Something for everyone. We had to leave earlier on our final morning before the start of breakfast but they had everything set out for us to self-serve. The restaurant was delicious but a bit pricey. This is typical of Norway, however. The pool at the connecting sports facility was convenient and fun.

Brakanes Hotel is located on the shores of the Hardanger Fjord in Ulvik. The hotel restaurant features a buffet and a la carte menu of local dishes. Free WiFi is included. Good location, friendly staff, great breakfast with a beautiful view!

We arrived when the restaurant had just closed. But since we were so hungry and simply wanted spaghetti with tomato sauce the cook decided to still fix something up for us. We enjoyed dinner with a great view! The staff is friendly, helpful, and very attentive. We also liked that they offer a charging station for electric cars. (Though it would be even better if there were more in case one is taken) We are very glad we stayed here instead of the other big hotel in Eidfjord which had a huge cruiseship in front of it the next morning.

The view, the quirkiness, the fact our kids could slide on the site was a highlight! We used our drone from a higher point, 15 min walk from the cottage to film the kids and the view was absolutely amazing! The fjord was stunning! We found food at the local supermarket only a few minutes away by foot. The service station makes nice coffee which I grabbed early morning and off i went for a walk, full snow and freezing temp but it was a delight!

This former farmhouse has been carefully restored and converted into a rustic hotel and restaurant. Just 1 km from Voss, modern amenities such as free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs feature in each room. An incredible experience. Everything hit the mark! The setting on a hill. The comfort and class of the rooms. The thoughtful hospitality of the proprietors that are going out of their way to make your stay warm and pleasant, from a personal pickup at the station, to attending to you over breakfast. The food at Restaurant Flor'n was delicious with great ambience. The gardens are beautifully maintained. Couldn't have imagined a better stay.

Situated by the Hardangerfjord, this family-run hotel is 5 minutes’ walk from Ulvik village. It offers a large furnished terrace, free WiFi and a variety of accommodation options. Very friendly host who offered us complimentary tea, coffee and croissants on arrival, which we had outside on the lawn in the sunshine with the magnificent fjord view. Included breakfast in the morning delicious and a huge selection, with plenty of vego options. Very peaceful, comfortable and relaxing.

With an idyllic location by the Hardangerfjord, this elegant hotel features traditional décor, a waterfront garden and free Wi-Fi. The impressive Steinsdalsfossen Waterfall is a 5-minute drive away. Location is very good, staff are just brilliant, decor is superb.

Situated 4 km from Røldal Village, overlooking Lake Røldalsvatnet, Hordatun Hotel offers international cuisine and an on-site bar. Hotel was clean, good breakfast and very nice view from the room
