National Park Schiermonnikoog offers a backdrop for Hotel Graaf Bernstorff which features a library, free bus service. The island’s pier is 3.7 km away. Nice hotel with character and history in the center of Schiermonnikoog. Wonderful welcome and talks during our stay with the amazing lady at reception. Our appartment was huge, clean and with modern amenities and decorations. Restaurant with good food and atmosphere.

Duinzicht is situated on the tranquil island of Schiermonnikoog and is just over 15 minutes’ walk from the beach. It offers free Wi-Fi throughout and includes a sauna and solarium. It's a really nice place and we had a really nice room..the room was clean with a really cute balcony and a nice view..the bed was really big and comfortable..Really clean room with nice decoration and the staff was very helpful.

Westerburen is a family-run guest house with a conservatory and small terrace in Schiermonnikoog village. It is located 4 km from the ferry terminal and offers free Wi-Fi throughout. The stuff is friendly in the Frisian way, it means no yakketi-yack and unnecessary chin music. Beds and furniture are plain and comfortable, explanations will be two syllabic and comprehensible. Bathroom fitment is nothing special but functional. Everything is neat and fresh. The garret rooms ain't hot even though at the time I visited it was quite torrid outside. About the degree of their beds' comfort nothing can I say as I'm extremely unpretentious in this regard. Anything that is not flint hard or jelly soft is comfortable for me. I suppose it's just good if I'm not bleating about it.

Karla is a helpful and generous host and provides good tea coffee provisions.
