Offering a restaurant with an outdoor terrace, children's playground and Auto Retro Museum, Hotel Miķelis is located in Uzvara. Very spacious and comfortable. There were a number of things to do on the property; restored historic buildings that showed how people lived, bikes available, display of a large number of tractors going back to the1930’s. The property was set a kilometre back from the road so it was very quiet. And the surroundings were beautiful and obviously very well cared for. The restaurant was excellent and there was a good wine selection.

There is a small bathroom with a shower in the number. Also had a small kitchen with glasses, coffee cups, plates, and utensils. Free wifi. Flat screen tv. Comfy bed. Clean and nice smelling room in general. Several different options for room lighting. A full self-check-in. On the day of arrival got a message from the hotel with the parking gate code, entrance door code, and room number and door code. It was explained that the room entrance code gets changed after each guest. Don't know about the gate and main entrance door codes. Parking was spacious. And conveniently right next to the building. Good location, because you have several dining options within walking distance as well as some bars and shops if you need them. The price is adequate for what you get.

It's still being restored, and in the morning after breakfast the owner gave us a tour of the main house and talked about the history. The room was comfortable, as was the bed.
