Located conveniently in the center of Seogwipo, Hotel The Grang Seogwipo has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and free private parking. Thoroughly recommend this hotel. The manager Mr Jay speaks English and was very helpful and welcoming! Location is great, just between two sections of the Olle walk and close to the bus stop for the airport bus. Also close to the Olle night market. The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast set me up for days of hiking. There is a car park outside the hotel, but I got around by bus without any issues.

Hotel in Seogwipo City, Seogwipo
Well situated in the center of Seogwipo, Soldongsan Stay provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and free private parking. Lovely location down south! Close to a lot of activities to do in Seogwipo! Beyond expectations, I booked for me and my 4 other friends, they had no idea what the interior or the hotel looked like, and left it in my capable hands - They too were beyond amazed with the great shower facilities, the view off into the distant coast with Saeyeongyo Bridge! The PILLOWS!!! I remember walking out of toilet and my friend was immediately conked out after laying her head on the pillow (manufacturer: Nubizio), I too was a victim to this pillow, conked out whilst friends were still in the room talking. This cloud pillow really absorbs your tiredness making you feel refreshed upon your slumber! There is a lovely cafe within walking distance of 7 mins from the hotel called Cafe Dam-a (카페담아), you must go, the owner was lovely and maybe she'll give you a treat on the house if you're nice :) Not only is the neighbourhood quiet, but so is the hotel, it felt like we honestly had it to ourselves! In a good way ahah. We drove from the airport to the the hotel, and it has parking for up to 2-4 cars (realistically for up to two cars, although there are four parking spaces, you'd block the cars at the rear from exiting as the parking is shaped in a square format), nevertheless, the neighbourhood seems to be a free parking area where you can park your vehicles without any lawful restrictions, so long as it doesn't interfere with other vehicle mobility. I don't know if it has been mentioned on the bookings website, but there was an EV charger on the premises in the parking spaces toward the rear of the 4 by 4 square car parking, as to what kW charger type, I don't quite recall, most likely a type 2 charger as the assumption is that you charge your car overnight, and it wouldn't make sense to have installed a highspeed charger, but double-check with the premises beforehand!

Jeju Island was a wonderful place for us to have a holiday. Though we would have enjoyed a couple more days on the island, we had a great time and visited a number of the island's top sites, doing a variety of activities. There is much to see and do here. Renting a car worked well for us, especially with the GPS units. Our meals in the small family owned restaurants were absolutely delicious! The people are courteous and helpful and the island is beautiful; a wonderful holiday location.
City in the southern part of Jeju Island... did a drive around Hallasan towards the end of our trip and realised how under rated it was... its beautiful and beats most tourist spots hands down...
Jeju Island is a volcanic island that is part of South Korea, just off the southern coast. Due to semi-tropical climate and the city landscape, it looks like the Hawai of Korea. It is a low density city so the ambience is really nice. If you want to spend more relax travelling experience, surrounded by nature, away from busy city life which is different from Seoul, feel the fresh air, you might want to visit Jeju island. Jeju has a lot of nice tourist spots. If you want to fully explore the city you might need to spent around 4-5 days there. But in terms of transportation, it is not too convenient. it is quite hard to go around Jeju if you go by public transport and better to hire a local driver or rent a car and using the GPS.
Jeju island is clearly overrated. Yes, they have nice beaches, beautiful hiking trails .. so do other places. The city of jeju is super ugly. If you want to go to jeju, rent a car and find yourself a hidden beach hotel. and go for hikes.
JeJu Island turned out to be a disappointment for my family vacation. For a start, food was so much more expensive than Seoul. Being an island, the public transport system is not tourist-friendly. I made the right decision to hire a private car to drive us around with total flexibility. There was no MRT and I didn't see sufficient taxis and buses running around the city especially covering remote tourist spots. A friend told me a horrible experience taking public buses in Jeju with a language barrier, unclear routes and long waiting times. We tried out the famous black pig BBQ which, to me, was nothing more than regular pork.
Jeju Island is very beautiful near the waters! There is much to see, so driving is probably best and easier to be able to see everything you would like. Although traffic lights add at least a good 20 minutes to your drives. So a 15 minute trip would take you almost 35 mintues. If you are using a gps in your car, you should get phone numbers for where you want to go, it is easier to just plug in the numbers to get somewhere! Mt. Hallasan is absolutely breathtaking but be warned, I am a moderate hiker and it was quite challenging for me. Took me a good 9 hours altogether due to the rocky pathways. And don't bother asking locals for a ton of help with finding touristy things, they do not seem to know what you are talking about (and I speak Korean fluently). All in all Jeju has a lot to see and has a very old and relaxed feel to the area! Time seemed to have slowed down for me. Will definitely be going back to see and do more!
Great scenic places for lots of photo taking and the general relaxing feel of the place. The jeju black pork is highly recommended! There's a restaurant next to cheonjiyeon falls that serves a great sea urchin roe bibimbap! Easily my favourite dish. Tangy, sweet and mild spicyness at the same time! I would recommend using a rented car to get around. You'll get used to the gps quite easily. Though the speed limits in Jeju island sometimes made the going to the attractions a chore as a mere 15km can sometimes take 30 minutes to get to! Please do yourself a favour and visit th o'sulloc cafe and innis free cafe and narnia cafe. Great food and icecream always at a farily good price.
Jeju island is full of wonders. We've been to many tourist destinations which are completely amazing. It was the best tour I ever had. So romantic to visit Jeju with my beloved wife.
Jeju island is a well developed self governing province in korea. This island posses a magnificent beauty that you fell in love with the place. Friendly people, delicious foods and Unique culture. Doing self exploration an your keen to have time enjoying the scenery and daily life in jeju public transport is highly recommended though the timing scheduled required a early palnnning. But it is worth to try. T- money could help you to ease the transportation easier and cheaper.
Andeok, Seogwipo
I hiked the Olle trails around Jeju Island last month, so I stayed in many different guesthouses around the island. This one was definitely the one with the best backpacker vibe, hosting guests from Canada, Holland, Russia, Israel, Germany, and South Korea. Great free breakfast, free laundry service, amazing location, spacious rooms with separate bathroom, and in general a relaxed, open vibe. Limbo is fun and friendly, he has traveled a lot himself, which makes him a great host.
Andeok, Seogwipo
This hotel is perfect and not super fancy, but suited our needs. The view overlooking the ocean is amazing and Sanbangsan Mountain is close by as well. Depending on what room you get you could overlook the mountain or ocean, so beautiful views no matter what! It was nice and quiet and peaceful. There are also many café and restaurant options within a short drive away. The room price was reasonable and I would stay here again for any future trips to Jeju Island.
Seogwipo City, Seogwipo
The hostel's location is convenient and I take bus arriving here from Jeju airport directly. The hostel owner are quite friendly and helpful. I did Eoseungsaengak trail hiking on Mt. Hallasan, hostel owner lent her crampon to me as it was heavy snow in the mountain. I could not make my hiking successful without her great help. Jeju island is so big that I would revisit here to go hiking again in the near future. I would definitely choose Slow Citi again.
The hotel is ideally located for visiting the Jeju Island sites if you have a hire car being half way along the southern coast of Jeju Island. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. The views from the hotel across the sea are superb. There is a really nice infinity pool and jacuzi at the front of the hotel. The breakfast was very good, The staff were excellent, although there were sometimes queues at reception.
Jeju City, Jeju
I loved everything about the property , the moment we entered the hotel , the lobby was very magnificent, then when we arrived at the room it was just perfect , luxurious and spacious. All amenities provided and very clean, room smelled nice. Outdoor pool is very nice. I recommend this hotel for your stay in jeju island. Also very close to tub airport.
The Ramada Hotel is located not far from Jeju City Airport (about 10-15 minutes by taxi). The staff was friendly and the room was good and clean. Breakfast was also good and with a good choice of food. We used only as layover for a quick visit to Jeju Island but overall the hotel satisfied our expectations.
Jungmun Beach, Seogwipo
I liked everything about this place. From it’s nice garden with mandarins, to the apartment itself. I had a magnificent view from my window, and everything was perfectly clean. I highly recommend and i will definitely visit there again next time i go to Jeju Island.
Jeju City, Jeju
The hotel is close to the Jeju airport (walking distance), and the price is cheap. Inside the hotel, the roo, is very clean room. Overall, I recommand this hotel to everone who want to visit at the north and east part of Jeju island.
The receptionist was very kind! We had an early morning flight to Jeju Island and she gave us a very early check-in and provided welcome drinks. Although the hotel was starting to show its age, the rooms were nonetheless comfortable,
Lovely hotel on Jeju island. The room was spacious and clean, plus had a nice view of the city and ocean. Easily connected to buses to explore the island, and some really cool spots to check out near by.
The hotel is located near the airport in a lively area with many restaurants, bars and stores. We spent just one night, it was a good starting point to explore the beautiful Jeju island.
We loved our stay at Hotel The Grang, Manager Jay and his team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We can't wait for our next trip to Jeju Island!
this is definitely my favorite hotel in Jeju island, the staff were friendly and helpful, specious rooms and comfortable beds, and they have smart TV !!
Andeok, Seogwipo
Apartment was very clean, Large room’s, Nice Breakfast buffet, and excellent location for most of Jeju island activities.
How the property is set back in the forest giving it a tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of Jeju Island.
The employers are good The hotel is perfect The Jeju island is beautiful and realxing
The whole personal and in particular the concierge were very helpful and nice. Tthe concierge helped us book a very nice taxi driver for two days. The garden is very beautiful and the restaurants are great.
Great location. Beautiful views. Super comfortable and the services were superb. Great breakfast buffet options too
Location is great and the hotel was very comfortable with lots of parking!
